I've never really had a good experience at this restaurant, so I don't typically order from them. But, I have them a try. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The fries that came with it were limp, lifeless, and had no seasoning. Since I had the order at home, I salted them and recooked them in the air fryer. That brought them back to life, kinda.The chicken on the sandwich had decent flavor and was a nice size, but the bun was too soft and squishy to support the heavy fillings. The bun had been grilled on they inside which was a nice touch, but it just wasn't enough to make this sandwich worth the price. I ended up taking the chicken off and eating it without the bread.Overall, it wasn't terrible but there are a few things I cannot forgive: cold, flavorless fries and a bun that falls apart before you can even take a bite.
I have ordered GrubHub multiple times with this cafe. I finally went inside for a to-go order and let's just say that this is now my go to! Bonus for it being locally owned and family oriented and ran. I appreciated the way I felt welcomed and the food is amazing! I have yet to try something from here that I don't like. And now I am excited to try all of their menu!
Stop here for fresh delicious food in a clean and casual setting. We opted for the Mexican food but some were ordering breakfast, an all day menu option. Those looked great and I considered those items until I finally decided. I had a taco meat quesadilla with the most flavorful ground beef filling — ground meat deliciously seasoned with what I don’t know but the caramelized bits of onion were noted and appreciated. Yep even the onions were great! Perfect amount of cheese not greasy at all but crispy none the less. Partner had the taco meat burrito which tasted delicious but not similar to the quesadilla at all. Rice, refried beans, bits of tomato and lettuce were wrapped in a home made flour wrap. These were so good we split them so each of us could enjoy! If you are near Schenectady, it’s right off 890. Lots of menu options — something for everyone.
Breakfast is always on point. Everything else is just ok. A lot of it is canned or frozen and just reheated. I can get better Mexican food in so many places. Stick to breakfast, some lunch and avoid the Mexican menu.
I don't like the service anymore best workers left, ? now they need a happy pill or someone that actually can waitress...
My husband and I were in town for a wedding and we always love to try and find local diners for breakfast. We stumbled upon the Point Cafe and are so happy we did. We sat at the counter and it was easy to see this was a coveted local restaurant. The staff treated their customers like family and the food was amazing. We would highly recommend this place.

Delicious breakfast. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, and French toast. All were cooked perfectly. Wait staff was attentive and friendly.
Drive past this place every day. Stopped for lunch the other day for first time the food was awesome, reasonable prices and staff was friendly.
