I've been a couple if times and each visit has been great. Huge selection of beer, on tap and bottled. The food is your standard bar and grill faire but it's always been tasty and fast. The staff is great, tho, we sat at the bar both times. If I was to say anything negative, it would be they don't have an extensive liquor selection but the place isn't called Mohawk Liquor & Grill, it's Mohawk Taproom & Grill.

Having ordered here many times: The food quality, menu diversity excellent and prices are reasonable. It is a small operation so sometimes the takeout time is long, but they are reasonably accurate with their time estimates. Well worth the wait.

We stopped in here Friday afternoon our way from Syracuse to Latham for a bowling tournament. What an amazing decision, as we have never been here!My husband and I sat at the bar and we were instantly welcomed by the bartender who happened to be the owner. He was very knowledgeable with his taps and beer selections in general. Great local beer selections on tap and a small cooler on the side full of cans available for sale. The food… omg the food!!!! We started with the wings, they were crispy, juicy, fresh and slightly breaded. For our lunch we both got the taproom fried chicken sandwich, and let me tell you… I never eat my full sandwich and I woofed that thing down with no regrets! The fried chicken was tender and juicy, topped with a tangy coleslaw, bread and butter pickles with a sriracha aioli atop a brioche bun. Although I am not a french fry person, my husband loved the crispy fries!Phenomenal all around, atmosphere, food and drinks. The locals truly love this place also and were very knowledgeable with the surrounding areas great food/drink spots! Can’t wait to go back again!

The Mohawk Taproom & Grill in Scotia, NY, was a great place for lunch! The owner, Mike, was very friendly, taking time to chat while tending bar. My husband ordered the bangers and mash, a St. Patrick's Day special, which was plentiful and delicious. I ordered a mushroom & Swiss burger, which was also quite tasty. We decided to split an Irish cream cheesecake, made by a local bakery called Trouvaille. It was very good, creamy with a nice cookie base.We will definitely go back for more good food and desserts. Enjoy!

Food was good. I wish they didn't take off the menu the Ceasur Salad with grilled chicken. It was delious. My margarita was good but I like it in a taller glass. Service was very good.and it was busy.

Some pretty good beers on tap and the burger that I ordered was great! Good neighborhood pub to get lunch, dinner, or a beer and a quick bite.

Great wings. Good selection of beer.

The mother clucker chicken sandwich was great! The ciabatta roll was the perfect choice for this sandwich. Ordered the sweet potato fries and they were very good - worth the extra cost. A fulfilling meal in a nice atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Seated immediately on a Saturday night and the service was fast. Would definitely return.

My favorite local place for bar food. The burgers and the wings are my personal favorite, they also have waffle fries which I love. Best thing about the place though is the beer. They always have a bunch of different craft beers available and they have a fridge at the front where you can grab some cans to go. The only downside is that the place is kind of small and fills up fast. If you can get a table though its definitely worth a visit. They also do takeout which is great.

Good food and friendly atmosphere
