My husband and I had been wanting to try dinner at Manhattan Exchange in Schenectady, NY, for a while. We were free on a Wednesday, so dropped in. We were surprised that it was very busy at 6:45, but soon realized that it was $10 burger night. We both ordered burgers, of course. The were cooked to taste, but be forewarned, they are huge!We ordered a side salad, and it also was quite generous. The staff was very friendly, but quite busy.I would suggest hiring a hostess, as the waitresses were trying to combine duties, which created quite a long wait between seating and serving.Customers seated before us seemed to wait a long time before receiving their dinners, and it took about 35-40 minutes for ours. If you're hungry, do not go on $10 burger night unless you're prepared to wait.
Quaint place for lunch, we are visiting from Ohio and stopped in. Drink menu is fun with creative names (ie sudden headache)! We got crab cakes and the bacon cheddar ranch chicken sandwich and holy wow!! The sandwich was huge and I even received a tutorial on how to eat it from our awesome server☺️our whole table loved the food!
Lovely spot and their menu is very good. The burgers and wings looked phenomenal
I go here every so often to grab drinks and chat about marvel and starwars with the bartender. I started coming here about a year ago when i moved to the area. I was new and didnt know anyone so it was nice to have such friendly staff welcome me! Well I liked it so much that I became a regular! Food is EXCEPTIONAL. Had the crabcakes and beef wellington today. Bar is super modern and newly renovated!
They do the best St Patrick's Day special. The corned beef and cabbage dinner last night was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The inside of the restaurant has been redone, and it looks incredible. If their food is always this good, we will be coming back often!
Came in with a few frands. Jesse waz the best. Got a delicious chicken sandwich that had a nice sunny side up egg on it. Crispy fries and some good vibes.
Haven't been here in a while and I was met with one of the best dining experiences. Greeted with a friendly hello, seated promptly. Our waiter, I think his name was Jessie?, was excellent. Funny, friendly, attentive. We ordered short rob croquettes which were quite delicious. Fried short ribs and mashed potato cakes served with a horse radish sauce. My meal was a fried chicken sandwich. The coatingon the chicken was crispy and so flavorful! Best chicken sandwich I've had in ages. My dining partner was slightly disappointed by her burger. She said it was perfectly cooked and juicy, but the meat itself lacked any seasoning.Over all, a fantastic meal and service.
Wednesday night is hamburger night for $10 on any of the 6 burger choices. Delicious and they let the table have separate checks. Happy hour wine and beer prices before 5pm.
Excellent burger. Loved the crispy fries. Chef/manager(?) even came out to check on how the food was, which I thought was awesome of him. Wish the iced tea was better. Tastes as it was out of a soda machine not brewed, so rather pricey at $3.
Probably one of the best French Onion soups and Quesadillas we've ever had. We've also had the burgers. Food always on point. Service at bar is always excellent also. It's in our rotation of places we visit!!
