Shepherds pie is my favorite meal so I love finding it on the menu and have tried it at many restaurants around the capital region. So far, Katie O’Byrne’s has the best, hands down! Perfectly seasoned, just crisp enough on top, right ratio of filling-potatoes-gravy, and the gravy, oh man! Delicious!

Literally just left there was starving and got the worst meal ever. Burger was burnt on the bottom completely. Spinach artichoke dip was still cold and the cheese on top which was cheddar?? Wasn’t even melted and the cheese that was melted was burnt. Our waitress took her time coming back in between but she was nice enough to comp the dip only because I asked. Felt bad because we left druthers and I dragged all my friends here ?
The salmon BLT is life.Whomever the kitchen staff is should get rewarded and has earned my respect. Very pleased and impressed. The Wall Street location has an Irish feel to it, and there is one waitress who gives you a comforting family feeling which is very appreciated as well. Albany needs a Katies! Please please please open one. Until my next visit, it has been real.Kudos to the entire Katies team! Thanks again.
Convenient, clean, consistent... Draft beer selection is nice. Service is quick and friendly. Good bang for the buck!

Last week I went with my Grandson. Everything was so delicious. Great service.I had French dip. Excellent. My Grandson had fish and chips. He loved it. We got spinach and artichoke dip for appetizer. The best we ever had. I have eaten their many times. Always happy. A little nosey but the food is so good. It doesn't bother me. Bread pudding is to die for too. Also their macaroni salad is delicious too. My favorite place to go to when I want a great meal.
We went in on a saturday for lunch and were seated fairly close to the door. The food arrived promptly, standard pub fare, and the waitstaff was attentive. The fish and chips was not greasy, but had a bit of a "fish stick" look to it. I just wish that we were told a band was coming in, it was a little loud for the 2 kids at our table, though the music was great!
Literally just left there minutes ago. Walked in to a cool busy Irish pub. Figured we would wait a bit for a seat. Was told about 15 minutes and much to my surprise we were seated in only 10. But then the 40 minute wait and no waitress ever came to our table. Watched 4 other patrons get waited on that came in well after my large party of 3. Asked the folks behind me if they waited long. They were waiting for food for over 30 minutes to be served and when we walked out they still were not served. 1 star is to high especially when the waitress told me it wasn't her fault. NEVER AGAIN. burger King across the way got my money.
Beautiful bar. Definitely seemingly a law enforcement Hangout spot. Great food! As long as you're not biased and not looking for trouble you'll be fine. Not all officials are corrupted and unfortunately the corrupted ones give the good ones a bad name.
