Was not impressed at all with this restaurant. My brother brought me out for my birthday and felt very rushed by our server. Ordered the greens which had a very sour taste to them. Also ordered the braciole that came with “homemade” cavatelli. The cavatelli were extremely undercooked. I like “Al dente” but this was inedible. The braciole did not taste authentic at all and the sauce was bland. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Food was delicious .Service was very attentive and spot on .

My wife and I have had great meals here and the chief has been able to cook special gluten-free dishes for me. This latest time it was haddock in a butter sauce and cooked sliced tomatoes. We especially love the sautéed vegetables as a side dish which we special order each time we go there. Staff was very friendly and interactive. Wait time was a little long this last time, but they were packed.

I have read some of the not great reviews…and maybe a bad night for them-but our experience was great! Wait staff, Jill was our waitress, hostess, young man filling water and clearing tables-all topnotch! Food was very good-ranch dressing a bit salty but otherwise everything was delicious. Reasonably priced, good food, engaging staff-while making sure folks were done in time for show-what more could one ask? More good reviews than not….majority speaks I always believe! Definitely will return….and would recommend to others.

Had a wonderful meal at grano's during Schenectady restaurant week. Our server Jasmine was friendly, personable and did a superb job helping with the menu, etc. The food came out tasty, hot and well spaced time wise. We had the 4 course special- as someone who is Italian American and has been to Italy, the food was VERY well prepared tasty and plentiful. The desserts looked great, but who had room!!!Will definitely be returning, with or without a special.

After much deliberation between restaurants in Schenectady for restaurant week we decided on Grano as we had never been before. It was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. The servers and I believe it was the manager or owner were all very professional. We tried the 4 course meal for $30 and everything that we had was delicious! There are so many things to choose from we will definitely go back

I’m Donna Bird, Broker/owner of Bird Realty in Glenville. Every year at Christmas time we gift our agents and their spouses with a formal dinner to say thank you for their dedication to their career and to our brokerage. We have gone to Grano for the past 4 years. Last year because of all the Covid restrictions we were unable to do that, however, we planned an evening once again last night. The food and the service is outstanding. We are always treated like family around the table with delicious homemade entrees that everyone loves! If you haven’t experienced this wonderful restaurant you are missing a big part of life! Thank you Grano once again for a great evening! Donna and Tom Bird - Bird Realty

Horrible and inedible food. I ordered the only vegetarian option they apparently serve. Whoever cooked it completely ruined it, which is startling since it's just so simple to prepare. Here's how you make the dish--saute in extra virgin olive oil, some chopped red onion, some kalamata olives, maybe brocolli or asparagus or both, some sliced red bell peppers, possibly a few artichoke hearts. After about 5 minutes, chop up some fresh tomatoes and add with 2-3 minced garlic cloves and maybe throw in a handful of baby spinach. Let it all marinate for about a minute, and then pour a 1/4 to a 1/2 cup of vegetable broth. Pour over whatever pasta you want and sprinkle with some freshly grated cheese. The version they served was disgusting. The pasta, which the waiter kept saying was handmade, was a sticky mess. The 'sauce' tasted like old dishwater, and the minuscule amount of vegetable were way overcooked. The chef(s) should be ashamed of themselves. I completely understand why Apperitivo (the previous restaurant housed in this space) was shut down by the health inspector, and whoever owns Grano seems to have just changed the name and is still serving the same nasty food that they are charging an arm and a leg for. I ate three bites. I brought a visitor from out of town to this place. If I had been with friends, I would have sent my dish back. The visitor told me she got sick. How embarrassing! Never again will I take anyone to this restaurant!

Went here during Restaurant week to try the special menu with friends. Food was delicious but the staff service was ok. We could not figure out who our waitress was . Someone filled our water glasses only once in our visit. Someone took our drink order and food order. Someone else brought us our food. My mussels was delicious but extremely hot. Burnt the top of my mouth. Meals with tip and tax came to about $ 60 a person.

The food at Grano is amazing!! So much flavor and taste. You will not be dissappointed.
