For $22+ a meal, I expected home made pasta and tomato sauce that was out of this world. In my opinion, the tomato sauce was very bland and runny. The sides of pasta you get with a dish are boiled boxed noodles covered in bland sauce. I've made better sides of pasta myself at home with store bought noodles and pasta. I don't think any of their noodles are home made, unless one of the other dishes that we didn't order were.I had the veal. While it was a huge portion, it felt like it was pulled from the refrigerator and heated up. Again, for $22, I would expect it to be freshly cooked. My wife had the cheese stuffed shells with sausage and meatballs. It tasted like something you buy in the freezer section of the grocery store heated up. Something was off with the taste of the sausage and meatballs as well. The one thing we did absolutely love was the appetizer of Italian Home Fries. They served cold, hard packaged butter with the garlic bread and the salads were okay. But again, for the prices they are charging, I expected fresh hot bread, warm smooth butter, and a little more finesse.I think the reason they have so many good reviews are due from locals who want to see the place do well no matter what.Based on prior reviews, my guess is that this place was actually banging back in the day, but something happened in the last several years that caused a decline.

Their sauce is delicious. Themeatballs and rigatoni were great. Cooked to perfection. Very nice salad with roasted red peppers, cubed cheese, celery, black olives and tomatoes. Great Italian bread too.The service is superb!

Got takeout tonite, requested several substitutes which were readily provided. Food was hot and ready when promised. Veal was very tender, and eggplant was perfect. They are not at all shy with the garlic, so if you ask for side pasta with aglio e olio you will get a pile of sauteed garlic on it. Tiramisu was excellent.

I am so sad to write this poor review. Ferrari’s has been a long-time favorite my entire life. The pandemic caused all restaurants to adjust staffing, meal options, and pricing so we expected some changes but our recent visit to Ferrari’s was a disappointment on just about every level. Staff members we have known for years were present and friendly but our server was “fake” friendly. In addition, her sleeveless attire was off-putting for a waitress and she repeatedly referred to us, two couples in our 60s and 80s, as “you guys”. That aside, two hot appetizers of seafood, veggies and red sauce were ordered with light or no sauce as meals, with pasta sides. Both came SWIMMING in a clear broth (?) so we asked for a large bowl and kept draining our meals. Clams and shrimp were good but eggplant was just mush. The other two diners ordered homemade fettuccini that was delicious but portions were significantly smaller; elevated price just couldn’t be justified - increase the price or reduce portions but both? The beautiful salads that used to be included with meals are now $2 and skimpy - price increase and quality decrease. We like and respect the Ferrari family and realize times are tough and different, but we will not return to this establishment anytime soon.

Don't let the outside and bar fool you - the dining room is nice. Classic Italian fare, good service, priced appropriately. Recommended and we'd go back.

This is the first time we've been back to Ferrari's since Covid started. I can't say anything other than GET THERE! The service was excellent - old faces and new faces! Food - my husband had the veal parmesan and once again it was excellent as it always had been. I asked for the chicken Amalfitani (not sure of the spelling) as it wasn't on the menu. Well, they were able to make it for me and it was wonderful as it always has been. Glad to see that they survived the pandemic and we will definitely be back!

If your looking for a homestyle Italian meal this is the place. I'm from out of town and feel like I hit the jackpot with this place. Great price for the portions, homemade pasta....need I say more!

Its SO RARE to see such team work in a busy restaurant! This experience was Amazing! Each staff member complimented the next one! Its like a well oiled machine in there! Not one table waited for food and the food was spot on!! The owners should be VERY PROUD!! Also.. It was the first time in years i did not see 1 staff member paying attention to thier cell phone.. Instead.. They were paying attention to the guests! Bravo to all of thier staff!

I first went to Ferraris's 40 years ago...back when it was GREAT...! But apathetic cooks and servers are now the norm here. Poor ingredients...poorly prepared with many mistakes....outrageously overpriced...and served by young, uncaring tip-counters... I used to order Braciole regularly, but no more... try it and you'll know why... Most recently, I ordered simple spaghetti & sausage instead...terrible...! How can you screw up such a simple dish...!? Undercooked pasta with 2 micro-sausage links that had an odd, funny taste. The dish was an unbelievable $26...plus $2 salad charge for a saucer-plate-sized salad....! Decades ago this place used to be great....apparently the old guard has died off...and the new breed only likes to count money... Never again....

Ferrari's is excellent. They have a Wed special of Spaghetti & meatballs or sausage or one of each, including an excellent salad & bread & butter for $8.99.I have gone here for years & I have never had a bad experience. I love their home sauce & meatballs. EXCELLENT!
