We looked forward to go to our favorite location for what we thought was going to be a delicious meal. On the contrary, my significant other ordered her favorite dish. Garlic Chicken Cutlet with roasted potatoes. The meal was very dry. Like the chicken was overly deep fried. There was a fair amount of garlic which was good but as mentioned very dry. It lacked the sherry wine to say the least. The roasted potatoes were over cooked and burnt. This is not the norm for Canali's but this review is warranted.

For Mother's Day they should take orders ahead. After getting disconnected the first time, I hung up after being on hold for 25 min. Had company and had to go elsewhere after we had planned dinner from here. Unreceptive to any calls or questions beforehand. Great way to spend our special day! Not!!?

Delicious! Five stars from antipasta to coffee and in between. The chicken was butter-tender for my Chicken Marsala. The antipasto yummy. The portions were large. The staff were exceptional with their service. Highly, highly recommend.

Had my baby's baptism lunch here. The food was delicious and the service amazing! We are so happy with how it turned out!

My family has been coming to Canali’s for years. They are consistently phenomenal in regard to their food and staff. ALWAYS would recommend

From 1980-present. The best Italian food ever! I went to High School with Peter, he was a couple of years older than me. My friends dad brought us there my first time and I was crazy about the food, and Peter! When I visit from Florida I go every time. I brought my children there as well to experience the delicious Italian food like no other place else offers. Still the absolute best food and service. Hi Pete! ?

We have been eating at Canalis for almost 40 years. Our recent visit was after a show at Proctors on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately in the front room to the right. It was noticeably cold. Our seats were even cold. It was obvious the heat had just tecently been turned on once staff had come in. Our waitress was excellent. Waitresses at Canalis have always been top-notch. They know the specials, the food, recommendations, the bar, every in and out. They bust their backs. Drinks came from the bar immediately. We both ordered wine. Ice waters were at the table as soon as we sat. Waitress informed us that an upcharge of $1.50 is now added to all salads. The Canalis house salad is a meal in and of itself so it wasn't a concern. We assume to keep entree costs down, the cost was added to salads. We both had a salad with the house dressing(ALWAYS!) Fresh, warm, delicious, crusty Italian bread basket came with packet butter. I ordered the Oven Roasted Chicken and spouse had Chicken Parmesaen. Both were served piping hot and delicious. Plenty of sauce and mozzarella cheese on husband's parm. My chicken was very juicy and had excellent flavoring/spices. Waitress offered another bread basket which we happily accepted and took home with our leftovers. We indulged by splitting a carafe of red wine with our meal. We were too full for coffee or dessert this trip. Never once have we experienced a bad meal at Canalis. Always delicious and we always return.

Have enjoyed this place with family several times. Always good service and excellent food. Brought some friends the other night, and they loved it too. Be sure to try the complimentary fresh bread that they bring.

Dinner with a fried this evening upon the recommendation of our very dear friend who is white. We are Black. After being seated, we sat for approximately 20 minutes with various waitresses and other staff passing by our table. We flagged down someone who appeared to be a manager, who immediately sent one of the waitresses who passed by us numerous times to our table. Her unwelcoming, unenthusiastic and lackluster service confirmed for us that our patronage was not wanted. The restaurant’s hostess advised us that she “forgot to send a waitress over”. So, we get it…Black patrons not wanted. A sign in the window would probably work better.
