Was seated for half an hour and watched all the tables that came in after us get their orders. Our waitress finally said she “thought” the kitchen lost our slip because our food should have been out by now… why she didn’t actually check with the kitchen is beyond me, unless she was the reason our slip was “lost.” Charged us $10 for 4 soda and not so much as an apology for the mishap. Food isn’t that great anyway, was only there to kill some time. Safe to say we won’t be back.

A much better choice than the Albany Bombers
Bombers used to be a staple growing up so when we were in Schenectady for a show I wanted to bring a friend. Holy heck was this no longer bombers. Has to be the worst food I've had in a minute. The chips were so heavily salted (mind you I love salt) that they were unbearable to eat. Our food was so sloppy and oily and had about zero taste. We will not going back. Our family has gone to Bombers for celebrations for years. The last experience was not pleasant, chalked it up to an off night and tried again. Tonight we went to celebrate a birthday. Meal took over 1 hour and 45 minutes. Long wait. Drinks not being refilled. Ordered chips and salsa to tied us over, did not come. Food finally came, wrong items, missing meals, cold food, bland generic foods. 3 out of the 6 of us felt nauseous after eating.Taco Bell or Chipotle would have been better. Sadly, we will not going back.
I ordered wings and payed the extra fee for the flat pieces ... I ended up getting mostly drumsticks ... my husband asked for a refund of the extra cost for the flat pieces we payed for... to our surprise Kalena(not sure how to spell her name ) was super kind and right away took care of us. She asked if we wanted a different order of wings... but we didn't have the time to wait another 25 min for them to get done....so Not only did she give us a refund of our chicken wings, but also my husband's burrito . She was very kind . I only give a 4 star bc the rice in the burrito was kinda hard... I think it was yesterday's rice that was not reheated properly.. but other than that I would go back again. Good customer service can really make a meal even better .. Thank you Kalena. Give that gorgeous girl a raise . .
We used to love Bombers so much but since Baumgartner sold it, it has seriously gone downhill.We try again every couple of months hoping to capture some of the old magic, but it's not the same. The recipes seem the same but the ingredients aren't as fresh. The fries always seem like they aren't as crispy and old. Burritos have a lot more rice, less sauce and the chicken is really really dry.So sad...
Great place if you're really hungry and want quick food that tastes good - and that isn't McDonald's. The staff is always friendly, and the place is always clean.
Fun place to eat across the street from Proctors Theater, Hampton Inn, and the Parker Inn. Lots of food, fun dive-y atmosphere and our server, Nate, was really good. Not a place I would take really young kids. Wish we had gone there the night before vs Pinhead Susan’s; didn’t feel great about walking there at night.
