Just finished eating a cupcake. It was a little dry. May I make a suggestion...a little oil in your batter. If you are using water, don't. Milk or almond milk. Maybe add more liquids?For the price, I would like it to be a little less dry. I brought 4, so I am a little worried how they are going to taste?! I'll warm it a little and this will help. PS the frosting was delicious.
I bought a limoncello sheet cake for my daughter’s lemon themed bridal shower in Connecticut on Sunday, 5/1/22. The cake was beyond delicious. Everyone loved it. People were asking where they could buy that. They were sad to know it came from New York instead of Connecticut where they could easily get it. The shower was beautiful and the cake was the ultimate perfect end to a perfect celebration. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the service was at the bakery and of course, the finished product. I am so happy with everything. Highly recommended!
After hearing all kinds of great things about the Blue Ribbon, we were really disappointed. The food was good enough, but nothing special. Flavors and textures were average. The service was excellent-attentive, but not annoying.
My boyfriend’s family and mine had a meet up here. Portions are huge, food is very tasty no matter what you get. Blue Ribbon doesn’t disappoint you in any food that you get here. Did I mention the staff are phenomenal too?
Great restaurant in Schenectady!! The food is amazing. The service is great. Everything is homemade and scrumptious! Their desserts are wonderful as well. I highly recommend the Peanut Butter Pie! Please go and enjoy!
This cozy gem in Schenectady had great seating and a wonderful diner selection. I hit them up for breakfast during a swim meet and was treated to a picture perfect plate of biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. The coffee was excellent and the refills were frequent and regular. If you don't want to hazard people, they have take out and a counter.The bakery is packed with a massive selection, from hand-made cinnamon rolls, cakes, cupcakes, and bak lava alongside cheesecakes, pies, and cakes. If you're looking to bring something sweet to a little gathering, or hoping for some comfort food in these trying times, the Blue Ribbon earns its namesake. I'd come back here time and again, just to work my way through the display case.
Food was good. Service was great and super fast. We sat and had coffee for a while and the refills came whenever we got low. Prices were good and we enjoyed the breakfast. Would come again.
