Super greasy, greasy, greasy. This is a bar that has bar food. Unless you’re primarily there for drinking, just skip it. I really wanted to love this place, and I don’t want to be rough on a local mainstay, but when I saw this had 4.6 stars I was bowled over. The people are truly lovely. But the food, in my experience, at best mediocre. :( been here twice and was let down massively by food quality. Including the vaunted wings!!!
A locally owned and loved gem you’d be crazy not to visit if you’re visiting or even a local. TC - the owner - welcomes all to this historic establishment situated in old town Schenectady among the houses built in the 1600 and 1700’s. Only 400-500 yards (!) from the casino, you’ll find GREAT food (1/3 pound burgers and 1/2 fried fish on hot buttered buns), great apps, fries, and the wings are a must. The prices are right and the vibe is historic, local and friendly to all.

I brought a friend there yesterday. I told them it was one of the best kept secrets in The Stockade. Mostly it would say your firefighters policeman people from the county go there but their chicken wings are something to die for, when I say that I say it in a good meaning the whole experience was fantastic the bartender graduated from the same high school as myself back to the chicken wings they are so big please go you'll have a great time.
