When my family and I pulled up, the restaurant had a lot of people. It was graduation week for my daughter's, nieces and nephew's and my father was in from out of town. So we were looking for a place to eat. So long story short, they helped us get tables and the service was great. Everything came out on time and we had a blast. Thanks again for everything, keep up the good work.
Worst absolutely Worst experience dining ever in my life.We were patient, kind, considerate...and frankly the management needs a swift lesson in running their place!!Honestly so much went wrong it's difficult to put here!! From the waitress to middle management to the manager on duty...Team work & communication along with the lack of obvious training of employees was a huge impact!!!I hope they get their act together! My children worked in Applebees in our local area and never once was such chaos seen!!Steer clear until they fix it!
The server Casey failed to advertise their new drinks. So because she failed to mention the drinks . We let 30 mins go by and asked for a free drink as advertised. However she didn’t want to honor it.I asked to speak with her manager, who’s name was Michael . Michael backed his coworker Casey up and said they had until the end of the bill to offer the new drinks. This was an act of false advertising.Inwhich was not honored. Also the attitudes while telling us no was disgusting, and not reasonable.#because of principle we walked out of the store and decided not to give them out business. This was a poor act of customer service.
Placed a paid order 45 minutes ahead of time to get to the restaurant and it isn’t ready. Wait 20 minutes for an order that should have been waiting. Get order, get home - 1/3 of it missing. They refused to offer delivery of the missing items. Instead are supposedly giving a refund. I’ll guess we see if that happens in 3-5 business days… absolute joke. I get that everyone is understaffed but when you offer a service to pick a time, someone pays for it, and then this nonsense while there is literally 4 customers in your restaurant??
Put in an online to-go order, picked up our food and immediately seen it was not what we ordered. It was basically half done. Missing sauces and the sides. I usually don’t like to complain but when you pay for something out of your own pocket it’s reasonable to expect the order to be made correctly. Upon receiving the order I checked the bag once I got into my car to check everything was in there and then went right back inside and asked if I could get the order remade or a refund. I was offered a full refund by one of the managers named Michael. This was April 9th. 3 phone calls to the store later it is now April 20th and I have not yet received the refund. I was told by another manager Shannon it was a pending charge, and to call my bank if I have yet to receive it. I called my bank just for them to confirm this not to be true and there have been no attempts on Applebee’s end to reimburse my money. I’ve sorta gave up at this point but I definitely feel as if I was just scammed at a chain restaurant. Which is odd to say the least as this is an establishment where you’d least expect to be ripped off in such a blatant manner. I do not feel comfortable spending money in a restaurant where if you receive an incorrect order, money back is not guaranteed.UPDATE: Still no refund after I contacted the email below.
Usually it's fine but this visit was ridiculous.. the place was practically empty yet It took forever to get our food. Then the food was not hot. The waitress was leaning across people and the table. When it was time to go the to go bags were thrown on the table on top of the dirty dishes. She made a point of letting us know she'd been doing this work for 30 yrs and that she would not spill the hot soup that was practically in my friends face.
Just like the last person who wrote a review 3 weeks ago...I picked up food for first time over a year ago. Was great, hot, correct and on time. Tried it again 2 months ago. Waited 25 minutes past my pick up time, called ONLY twice and just like the last review, they hang up on you so you stop calling. Thrown together and cold. Decided to try tonight, one more time. Same thing. Ordered at 5:20 pick up. Called rang forever. Person said they would " tell pick up person" at 5:30 called and person said we are waiting on "fresh fries". 10 minutes later. Fries cold, soggy chicken fingers were cold and small , chicken fajita wrap had no chicken! My riblets had hot chili sauce all over them when I specified on the side. Inedible, wasted $ and a night off from cooking and a long work day, to choose this place. Btw, you don't bring food back, to get it heated or corrected. Definitely don't do that.
I realize it was busy. We were there on March 11 2022 at 9pm. Our server came to our table and didn't greet us and introduce himself. He asked us if we were ready to order , we ordered and our food came promptly. My wife's burger was real good she said and I had desert the blondie brownie . It was sub par it tasted burnt because it came out on a hot skillet, the pecans were burnt as well. The Manager apparently moved our server Arthur M to the bar to work hence we didn't see our server again . I had to ask the host to get refills for us and when our server finally showed up he asked if we needed anything and I told him we had the host get our refills. He replied back with a attitude and said even though he is busy he can take care of his tables, which is far from the truth. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
Curbside pickup was great the first time..food was quick and still hot..second time..had to call to remind them I was there.. twice because the 1st person put me on hold and then hung up. When the food came was cold and looked like it was sitting there waiting to be picked up.
Walked in and was told to wait when half of the tables were open and the door person was rude and said there was a 20 wait . 15 minutes later we were told we could sit in one of the 15 spots that were open when we came in. Not 1 person left!!
