My local go to place when I’m in the mood for Sushi. Food is always fresh and tasty. Their cooked meals are also very good….fish in ginger/scallion sauce is a lunchtime favorite of mine.
Great food. Portions a bit small.
Constantly increasing prices and decreasing the volume of. Rice is cheap, How much smaller are you going to make the container for the white rice. You lost a customer for three cents worth of rice, you got to draw the line somewhere.
My sushi was served very quickly I sat at the bar the food was very expensive if you go to the fresh market next door you can get double the portion for half the price clean bathrooms partitioned
Horrible service & food. I took a friend there last night to celebrate her birthday the server was rude & dismissive, as if we were interupting her day. The only human expression of being glad we were there came from the bus boy. We ordered the crispy red snapper that was not crispy. The quality of food was very poor, i had been there several years ago and this dish was delicious, flaky fish, moist and crispy, whatever farm u got these snappers from was hardly the fine texture of snapper. Unfortunately, cutting corners will cost u. Oh and then the dryed out day or two OLD brown rice was disgusting, u should be shame of yourself and hire employees that can say hello and act like theylike people. For a better dining experience head up the block to Kim Sumi next to massage envy...they like people & the food is delicious!
Pad thai was good.
Very good customer service. Great tasting food. Nice ambience. Very family oriented and still perfect for a date night. Entrees are very filling. Drinks taste good. Very wide selection of sushi and appetizers. My personal preference of wishing there was a wider variety for the chef rolls as most were same items in different order.
Haiku never disappoints. This Scarsdale location is not quite the madhouse White Plains, and Bronxville is. But whichever location you choose the food and service will always be first-class.
Friendly environment, good service, great food. The restaurant looks clean, the ambient music is good and not too loud that allows to speak and have a good time. The only thing that did not reach my expectations was the orange ripieno desert, a good idea not well executed. Besides that the overall experience was quite good.
We happened to be in the area and chose to eat out at Haiku. We ordered the Chicken and Bokchoy, King Crab Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll and Crab cheese wonton. Compared to all other restaurants, the food was flavorful but not overpowering. The rolls were spot on not too much rice and a textured outside with a good sprinkling of sesame and roe. Fresh baby bickchoy was garlicky. the chicken white meat was moist and no raw or gamy taste. I eould defintely go back!
