Was a regular until I received a salad with a giant bug in it tonight. When Chopt first opened here it was soooo good but the salads haven't been great lately. So disappointing. Tonight I got a salad and it tasted great for the first time in a while and then once i reached about 3/4 through my salad I found a bug in it. I will attach photos.
Food wise my salad was a 10/10. i'm very familiar with the menu and how the orders are taken . However what leaves me to write this 2 star review was my service. I was served by this passive aggressive male on Friday May 27th around 3pm. As I was telling him what I wanted, I pointed from the glass (i did not reach my hand over the food) but he gestured his hand in a push/shoo manner and rolled his eyes implying that i do not point because of covid. I didn't appreciate that he made me feel like I was some type of germ. Had he said "excuse me" or "im sorry ma'am do you mind not pointing" instead of shoving his hand towards my face, I wouldn't be upset.I don't plan on returning here as great as my food was because he made me feel bad and uncomfortable. naturally we point at what we want, it's one thing if i actually hovered my arm over the food, but i didn't. as soon as i raised my finger he got defensive and aggressive towards me.
On my way to becoming more conscious about what I'm eating. When the food is good on top of being healthy.. you definitely win. Good job Chopt!

The lines are so much shorter when they stopped chopping the salads. My go to is the Mexican caesar with fried chicken! Yummy! I absolutely love the hospitality here also. Yvonne is the general manager and is an absolute gem! Shermaine is also the funniest manager you will encounter! Must come here
The salad is always very healthy & you feel full eating a whole bowl .
I found a BUG in my salad. I can't believe it. The only reason I rated 2 stars instead of 1 is because one star reviews get written off.THERE ARE BUGS IN THE FOOD. I can't believe it. Beyond disgusted.
I like this place a lot. Good healthy salads, fresh ingredients and the staff are very friendly. Finally! Healthy fast food!
