Excellently prepared and beautifully presented New Orleans style food in Saratoga. This occurs in the home of the first black graduate from Skidmore college. You can dine on the patio downstairs or upstairs in one of the in one of the rooms that range in size from holding just a party of four to larger rooms which hold multiple tables. A gem worth trying
A Wednesday evening, We requested to be seated as close to the live music as possible Done (The Hot Club of Sara-toga you have to experience them) The wine was generous The beet and green salad perfectly seasoned, the sourdough bread with the farm butter - ultimate indulgence the grass fed stead was to die for the wine serving were generous I got into a conversation with the bar tender about Spanish vermouth cocktail and he knew and was able to recreate them , using a local vermouth The man knows his stuff . You have to to to Mouzon House, there is no other restaurant Nobody does it all like them
My wife and I started with crawfish beignet as a starter which was delicious. The gumbo was outstanding along with the blackened catfish. We finished with bread pudding with olive oil ice cream which, surprisingly, was excellent. We would definitely go there again.
I went here for my birthday with family. I really loved this place. The ambience was cool and funky. Food was different and each course was very tasty. The server, Sophie, made us feel welcome and comfortable. The place had a vibe that makes you want to go back again. It looks like they are going to have a new outdoor deck that I want to check out when the weather is warmer. I can't wait to go back.
My boyfriend who has been here before took me out as a treat. Decor and atmosphere is very nice, our server was excellent and attentive. Our food wasn't exactly disappointing but we probably will not return. Some of the prices seemed unreasonable to me, the special we ordered was affordable but be wary of expensive bread. "Sourdough" was objectively not sourdough, and tasted like first attempt homemade bread. We considered a lower review score because after eating we saw a mouse run across the room; this building is under construction so not that surprising to me personally.
Chef owned and operated farm to table restaurant. Supper club on Sundays!
Loved the food and drinks! Quality ingredients and the best margaritas and cosmos! We loved the crawfish beignets.
Nice casual place, usually not too crowded. I love the little garden they have here. Order food at the register is different from other restaurants, but not too bad. Menu includes creative spins to basic items. Overall, 4 stars for food and service (since there isn’t too much service happening here)
Great food and great ambiance…they serve One With Life Tequilla !!
Cute little place I always wanted to explore. The summer offers a supper club menu which made it a challenge to get a reservation. Nonetheless we were able to. The service was friendly and general vibe of this spot was calm and tranquil. Food was great, especially the sweet potato wedges and BBQ shrimp. Only managed to snap a photo of the Steak Frites.
