Italian Pizza Wine Bar

The appetizer that I ordered was not as described on the menu. The pizza was not completely cooked. While I sat at the bar waiting for the order to go, the bartender kept reminding everyone how long they had to be in their seats until the next party’s arrival. No pressure! I emailed them to let them know that I had an experience that wasn’t great and they never acknowledged it.

A highly recommended Italian restaurant in a quiet neighborhood of Saratoga. I'm so glad we checked this place out. Their outdoor patio is beautiful lit with plenty of shade. We order two pizzas to share and it was just enough for 4 people. I'm looking forward to going back and trying other dishes on their menu.

Sausage meatball appetizers: very good. Salad was very good. Bolognese? Meh. Meaty, yes. Tomato sauce, no. Pizza-- jury is still out. BTW--When inquiring about cabernet, server told me they have one in tap. WTH??? At least Peroni was on tap. Oh boy...

We arrived at 8.50 on a Friday night and were told that the kitchen closed at 9, so we’d have to be quick. But from the moment we sat down, no one hurried us at all, they were amazing, not at all hurried or rushed. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the shrimp and calamari appetiser in a heavenly tomato sauce to start and then the Ragu pasta (absolutely amazing), salmon pasta and eggplant parmigiana, all delicious and good portions. The wine list had a good selection and when they didn’t have the wine we chose, they upgraded us. Gin drinkers beware of the local Lake Placid gin- it has a very specific taste that neither of the gin drinkers in our party liked. Tasted a bit like aniseed. Lovely outside patio and garden, but bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are very active. Loved that the edges of the garden have beds with herbs and veggies to be used in the restaurant. Would highly recommend dining here, but go a little earlier than we did!

The portions here used to be exceptional. Not anymore. The bacon on the bacon wrapped scallops was burnt. I can burn my own bacon at home. I got a “generous” 5 clams in my clams and scallop special and about 10 pieces of pasta. I have no problem paying for a decent meal but I expect to get something for it. Go to the Village Pizzeria in East Galway the portions are much better, the wine selection is better, the owner is better the servers are better. It’s just better.

Stopped in Sunday 5/22 about 7:45PM... there were a few other customers at the bar and tables. We were met by a friendly bar tender who seated us and then we had quite possibly the best waitress that evening out of any restaurant I can recall going to recently. Pizza (both of them!) were authentic Neapolitan style, some of the best I've had in the USA. My wife's Vodka pasta was also good (not outstanding - but still quite good). Loved that small neighborhood restaurant charm that this place has.

My boyfriend and I order takeout from here multiple times a month - it’s THAT good. Farmhouse caesar is our personal favorite (lettuce is always super fresh and the croutons are so yummy) and the pizzas and pastas are delicious as well! A little pricey but absolutely worth it for the quality and portion sizes! Hope to dine-in soon!

The best steak dinner I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious.Excellent service and atmosphere.

This was one of the best meals we have had in a long time and we dine out frequently. Bartender was so pleasant, attentive, and he clearly took pride in this restaurant. The food was AMAZING and the portions were huge. Also, an amazing wine list for a small restaurant. So glad we stumbled upon this place. We will absolutely be back.

FANTASTIC!!! Ordered on Dash. Food arrived piping hot in stealth mode. The rigatoni ala vodka was perfectly done. Huge thumbs up Chef. Even the bread was nice and warm wrapped in foil!Thank you for a delicious meal while I sit watching NYR!
