One of the best places we ate at during our stay. Broad menu, service was outstanding, food was plentiful and delicious! The mussels are a must!

Best scallop dish I’ve ever had. The staff is top notch too, just ask the waitstaff to explain the specials and they will go into detail with preparation, temperature, consistency and ingredients. The food will blow you away. I live in seacoast NH and have never had Italian food this good- let alone a scallop dish. The bolognese was unique and delicious, more pork than what I normally see. The noodles were house made and it was a great balance of salt and savory. The only downfall was we couldn’t sit outside and inside is very loud. Great spot, will not disappoint. The locals sitting next to us let us know that this is the best Italian restaurant in Saratoga, which is always a good sign!

We just had the most delicious meal at Solevo. The food was excellent. We were very lucky to have Gabby as our server. What a wonderful evening. We cannot wait to return.

Unfortunately after 5 visits to Solevo I have to update my review. My feelings on the service staff remain unchanged and they are great. We went on Saturday, after the Kentucky derby, and the staff had no problem honoring our 9 pm reservation even though they were very busy.We sat at the bar and ordered two great appetizers and enjoyed our drinks. Unfortunately when we received our entree (the polenta, shrimp, and broccoli Rabe special) something in the dish gave strong flavors of lighter fluid or burnt plastic. It was a very distinct smell. At first I thought maybe it was over charred but the taste and smell was so incredibly strong. I rarely ever send food back but it was all I could taste for the rest of the night. The staff even had very concerned looks when we gave them back the dish. It was so disappointing. Mistakes in restaurants happen but I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the worst things I have tasted in years and I am not a picky eater by any means. We ordered another appetizer after and it was the oreganato (littlenecks with breadcrumbs and garlic) and it just tasted like breading. Again a disappointment.Previously I would order pasta and maybe that's the game they should stick to.Another issue at the bar was the dead flies in all the lights above. I just can't understand how a place that has their staff have such incredible attention to detail can't see the dead flies hanging right above where people are eating. This was my original review: "Cannot wait to be back! Excellent food, classic atmosphere and staff had very descriptive narratives about the specials you will want it all!"Im not saying this will be everyone's experience and I really hope it won't be. I am just documenting mine.

Made a reservation for 9:45 because it was all they had. Walked in at 9:15 to maybe sit or have a drink at the bar and we were seated right away! Food was so delicious. Eggplant chips are a must try. We also had fresh succulent oysters to start. Then I got the salmon it was so much food and the fish was cooked perfect with a nice crunchy skin. My boyfriend got the pasta and loved it. I tried the pasta it tasted really good. The service was awesome I was a little nervous to go so late but I think it’s the way to go since they’re always so busy. Everything was worth the value.

Service, atmosphere, menu, cocktails, and price point 5/5 easy! We sat at the bar and loved the overall atmosphere. Portion sizes are huge and staff is knowledgeable. Can’t wait to return.

Great food, wonderful server (John) and lovely atmosphere. The chicken parm was some of the best, Drinks and dessert were superb. Twas a bit noisy but the overall atmosphere made you feel you were in Boston or Montreal. Quite a wonderful evening.

We had my daughter's birthday dinner here and it was fantastic. Our server Gabby A is beyond amazing. She makes your stay at there restaurant a great experience. I had the lasagna and it was fantastic I size of the piece that brought out to me I was able to bring it home and have leftovers for 2 more days. My daughter had the Bolognese and loved it. Can't say enough about this family restaurant. Hands down some of the best service we have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Would definitely go back.

This is hands-down the best Italian in Saratoga springs and the area. I have had the chicken Parm, the meatballs and the steak dinners. The Sunday sauce that they have there you can drink from the glass it’s so delicious. The service is excellent and knowledgeable.

We always wanted to check out this new Saratoga ‘hot’ spot and we’re glad we did . Dinner starts out with Tuscan style bread with pickled vegetables and olive oil and spices. Our two appetizers were both spectacular and average. Their beet burrata salad was literally the best that we have ever had…we can’t wait to go back just for this item. The fried calamari was very average with not enough marinara sauce. Our main courses were excellent. I got their lobster topped salmon over spinach with awesome ricotta balls…simply delicious. My wife got the special which was a swordfish, shrimp and clam dish in a spicy chunky tomato stew. It was huge and not overly spicy where you couldn’t enjoy it. Again, absolutely delicious. The only major disappointment was probably the worst carrot cake we have ever had…dry, full of nuts with the thinnest layers of cream cheese. New recipe needed but we were so full from dinner that it didn’t ruin our opinion of the place. Be forewarned, the place is super loud..there were times we couldn’t hear each other talk. Overall though, a very good dinner that is on the border of being excellent.
