Delmonico steak was $78(!) and a poor quality steak. Lots of gristle. Very chewy.
Made a reservation for 3, but ended up having 4 and they handled it. No problem!

We are from the Boston area so only visit Saratoga every so often. This was our first visit to Salt & Char. Simply put, our entire experience was "outstanding!" From the seating on the gorgeous and spacious patio - the knowledgeable, attentive and friendly staff (waiter was especially terrific!) - to the delectable food (filet was superb!) - it was a dinner we can't wait to do again! Salt & Char has found a fantastic, and all too rare, combination -- fine dining, with a comfortable, yet elegant, ambience, in a welcoming setting. Very, very well done!
Food was amazing. It was very loud & crowded in there for a Tuesday night. Service was a tad slow along with wait time for our food. Overall was a nice meal.
