Best restaurant by far in Saratoga!! Food is amazing and we love the staff…our waitress Terri is the best!!

Osteria danny serves amazing Italian cuisine with a friendly staff. Although they are booked most of the time, Patty is wonderful at returning calls trying to schedule her customers. Terry is a knowledgeable, accommodating waitress who takes the time to be sure her customers are pleased with their meals. I would highly recommend Osteria danny’s restaurant.
My wife and I visit Saratoga Springs several times a year and have sampled almost all of the celebrated restaurants in the region. Osteria Danny is one of our favorites, and it never disappoints. We recently enjoyed an anniversary dinner there and were rewarded, as always, with a memorable meal -- one of the best veal chops I have ever had. My wife's duck was sumptuous and well-prepared, and we both started with the grilled octopus, for which Danny is renowned. We concluded with Danny's coconut cream pie, which all the regulars extol and for good reason. The ambience is friendly and casual, if a bit loud, and the wait staff are helpful and personable.
We were fortunate enough to get the last 2 seats at the bar at our favorite spot in SS. Dinner as usual was fantastic, Chicken Romano is a simple dish that Danny has perfected in our humble opinion. Service was excellent (Barkeep Mark)with a small unnecessary, annoying habit by one of the servers. Slamming dishes, plates, pitchers and anything else she could get her hands on was on full display (clearly something had gotten under this person’s skin) Oh well, the food was the reason we keep going back to visit this little gem Patty and Danny have created. If you haven’t been here, chances are great you’ll wish you had sooner!
Super friendly staff from the second you walk in the door, and the food and drinks were absolutely outstanding. My boyfriend and I enjoy traveling and going to all different kinds of restaurants, and I will say we BOTH agree that these were probably the best meals we have ever had dining out. We are 3 hrs away in Jersey and we cannot wait for our next trip back to Saratoga Springs just to be able to come back to Osteria Danny! Our server Terri was spectacular as well. Ambiance was cozy and relaxing too. Loved every minute here!
Outstanding Meal in a Foodcentric Town. An excellent restaurant with well trained and welcoming staff. The selection varies based on the market. Try outstanding Duck Ragu and Shrimp prepared his father’s way with lemon risotto.
I took my wife to Osteria Danny for her birthday. We started with a bada bing shrimp appetizer and a bottle of Prosecco, which were both delicious. The Halibut and Atlantic cod entrees were excellent. The bread and butter and coconut cream pie to finish off our meal were excellent . Patty and Chef Danny, the owners are terrific, along with with our server, Terri. We will definitely eat here again.
They know good wine and food. perfect restaurant. Always busy, you should make a reservation.
You have to go here if you are in Saratoga. The food tastes like an amazing homemade Italian meal. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, and the service is impeccable. Greg gave us wonderful recommendations and made us feel very taken care of, and never rushed. Can’t wait to go back!
