I stopped into Farmer’ Daughters’ after a long day at work. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but their cook Rion suggested a crispy chicken wrap. I was beyond amazed at how delicious and fresh it tasted. I, of course, had to pair it with sweet potato fries that were cooked to PERFECTION. To end my visit, I ordered a kiddie twist on a cone with chocolate sprinkles. It was the perfect size and left a creamy taste in my mouth. I forgot how delicious the food and ice cream is here and cannot wait to return again. Thank you to the owner, Annette, who I had the pleasure to speak to, for not raising prices to unreasonable measures, regardless of todays economy.
Less than average food, artificially flavored milkshake, very very slow service, and broken tables inside. Won't return. (Edit/Update: The owner's response below is about a different customer and is not me. My shake didn't spill, and I ordered food and ate inside. Instead of a defensive response and assuming they are so confident that they know who wrote the review, maybe an offer of better food and service might bring a customer back.)
I am not typically in the area but my son had a game on Mother's Day. Handed out an ice cream coupon to moms and menus. We ordered ice cream and placed a to go order for food to the tune of $46. People that ordered so much later than us were getting their food and we were still waiting, around a 1/2 hour total. After 20 or so minutes I went up to the window to ask where our order was I heard them say, "now let's start working on the to go orders." The orders should be cooked in the order they were received!!!! And if not waiting that long is aggravating enough, my fries were way undercooked and we had to bring them back to put them back in the fryer. Not happy and would not go back. It was the worst part of my Mother's Day.
Wonderful local burger stand. Beautiful surroundings, a bounce house for the kiddies. Food is good, if fairly typical, not overly expensive. Good selection of ice cream.
We are long time customers and unfortunately we will never be going back there again. We were there today 05/03/2022 at 3:45. The girl at the counter took our order what was 2 funnel cake sundaes. There were 3 or 4 workers in the back. After half-hour waiting my wife asked if our funnel cake sundaes were almost done. She looked at us and said I was wondering why you guys were just standing there. Then she turned to the girl that took our order and she looked like a deer in the headlights and said no she didn't make them. So after waiting half-hour we just asked for something easy. We ordered 2 small hot fudge sundaes. Then my wife asked if we could have the difference back, the young girl looked more confused. Finally after 45 minutes later. I will not be going back there nor will I ever refer anyone to go there. Terrible
Excellent food and ice cream. Girl at the counter seemed stand offish and kinda rude, but maybe I could chalk that up to it being a 90 degree day and it being very busy. Overall, good experience.
Got some quick takeout this weekend. My bill seemed high so I asked the prices of the 3 things I ordered. The price of the "scallops" did not match the advertised sign. I asked to talk to the manager, my plan was to ask them to update their sign and leave the difference in price as a tip. The manager would not come to the window. The kid they sent just said all prices have increased - yes, I am aware they have increased everywhere. Additionally, I am pretty sure I was not given real scallops. Pretty gross, really. This was an easy fix but instead of coming to the window, they ignored me. And yes, I was polite.
one small choclate twist and one small cookie dough when they sad small they meant small and it WAS $9.10 FOR TWO SMALL ICE CREAMS yeash im never eating there agian
Very good ice cream. Many different flavor options are available. You can get soft or hard ice cream. A lot of seating is available around.Its worth to make extra effort to make a stop there if you are in the area.Would go the again.
