Doughboys we’re an in resinous invention. Oboys are dry and lacking flavor comparatively. What happened?
I’ve lived in Saratoga my whole life, and have been going to Esperanto since they opened. To be honest I never really liked the pizza or other food items but I used to LOVE the doughboys (now Oboys). I just came home for a visit and as usual this was one of my first stops… I was so disappointed!!! They’ve changed the recipe/how they’re made…I assume because they’re mass producing them now? The dough/breading is disgusting. So sad. They were just terrible and not the same. I won’t be ordering any more take and bake doughboys/oboys home and I definitely won’t be craving these atrocious imposters between visits anymore. Took something that made them famous and turned it into garbage ?
I have Celiac Disease and I am vegan. I was able to eat here. It was delicious and I did not get sick. The crust is soft and amazing!

I have a tradition when in Saratoga Springs. I get a buffalo chicken Oboy and a slice of pizza and iced tea for $6 from Esperanto's. Then I walk to Congress Park to eat. I don't know where else to find Oboys. They're incredible. Yum
They make one of the best items I've ever eaten eaten doughboys. Cheese chicken and spices rats and do what could be better. For some reason tonight I got the mixed up with ravenous and thought they closed. I do miss Ravenous yummy Crepes. Thankfully I still have doughboys.
If I could rate this ten stars, trust me, I would have. Their Oboy's are the best human creation. The Oboy/Doughboy is and has been my favorite food! By far.... Thank you for making the greatest treat ever Esperanto!!!
I got some chimneychangas here and they were really good and its now my new favorite restaurant.
