Went for a beverage after shopping in town. There was a Dave Mathews cover band. The patio was supper cute! Lots of plants and light.
The outdoor area is fantastic, and it even has a sliding roof that closes during bad weather. The food was very good and it was delivered with excellent service. Note that the menu is a bit limited so know before you go! TIP: Nice singer, but turn the music down a little!
My mother and I had lunch here outside on a beautiful day. She had a salad and I had a beer and a pizza and everything was delicious. The staff was wonderful - friendly, efficient and not annoying. Great place !
First time in in years, Druthers still delivers - maybe better than ever. Great covered patio dining just off of Broadway (plus indoor dining also). My wife and I popped in for lunch today, and found the food and service excellent. They seemed well staffed, and our waitress was especially friendly and professional. We enjoyed a loaded grilled cheese sandwich and also the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Plenty of beer selections on tap. Highly recommended, and we'll be back.
We had dinner at Druthers. A fun, young, hip burger joint serving "Smashed" Burgers. Don't bother ordering a medium rare because they literally smash it so it ends up medium to well anyway. Delicious burger nonetheless. Their fries are really good. The sauce on the burger really added to the flavor. They have nice selection of brews. The monkey bread was amazing! We almost forgot we ordered burgers so had to stop eating the pull part monkey bread (cheesy garlic bread with a tomato pomodor type sauce) YUM city. Do try. Do enjoy. Don't eat all the monkey bread and leave room for the main course.
We ordered a pizza and some wine. The pizza was first rate and the wine just right.The staff were attentive buy not intrusive, friendly but not fawning, altogether professional.
So, go gotta know going in that this is more about the beer and big portions of very average food. We ordered the beer cheese pretzels appetizer which was a huge portion, but the pretzels had no salt and were oily. My wife got the vegetarian mac and cheese, once again big and bland. I ordered the pork smashburger which was Ok but a bit underdone. Also I must mention that we were there on a Friday night and it was so loud that we had to scream across the table to communicate. The service was very good, but the food would not bring us back.
Stopped by for lunch. We sat outside under cover. It was a little cool but the heaters kept us toasty. Service was excellent. Beer was good and the food was great. It was very inviting. Will definitely return if we are in Saratoga again.
Walk through a deceptive alley entrance and TADA...Druthers! Have a beer! Watch a game! Get a table inside or out (nicely heated), pull up a bar stool. Best mac & cheese and the burgers...Right on target. A friendly spot in a nice college town.
