Very disappointed in this Courtyard. The check in process was good but the entire lobby is very dated. Our room smelled very musty and everything felt like it was wet. I spoke with the front desk and the girl was very nice and moved our room across the hall. Unfortunately this room smelled musty also. The wall unit AC was so loud and really outdated. The carpet was dirty and bed very hard. Overall I felt grossed out the entire time we stayed there. It is overdue for a renovation.

They have installed new smoke alarms in the rooms that flash a bright white light repeatedly to “let you know they are working” per the front desk. Good luck sleeping there. The front desk is just as dismayed and there seems to be a big disconnect between corporate and the workers. That means trouble if you want good service and reflects poor choices by Marriot, for you the customer. What a mess.

I am not one to complain about hotels, I am not a posh person where everything needs to be spotless and I understand human being are doing jobs. But i have to say that in the case of our in this hotel, the maid had clearly be slacking off and not doing there job correctly. The mirror was still very dirty, lots of black hair everywhere and my friend and I do not have that hair colour. There was pee on the toilet that had not been cleaned and MOUSE poop on the bed. We went to the front desk and right away asked for another room. The clerk was completely understanding and changes us right away. She apologised and send that she was simply the night clerk and couldn't do much but that we could speak to the manager in the morning. And so we did, she was very understanding and saying that they had a new crew and definitely would see what could be done. Even said they would send a manager of the cleaning crew to clean. They discounted our room for that night. I felt very heard by the manager and she was nice and seemed to want to continue to make our stay a positive one. That being said it was one of my not so pleasant stay at a hotel because of that experience. My friend was very uneasy sleeping that night and i don't blame her at all.

Nice Marriott. Clean rooms. Thank you for military discount. The guys at the front desk and the bartender were all very nice. The bed was the worse compared to my other Courtyard stays on this trip. Too many kids in the pool to be used sadly. NO breakfast included, no food to order when you arrive, not even bar food. I still wish Marriott would get their act together and have all the hotels doing the same thing. No close restaurants to get dinner and only breakfast is at Starbucks in hotel which is too expensive. Wish the refrigerators in the room had a freezer so cold packs could be refrozen for travelers. Still, I continue to stay at Marriott.

Everything is "do it yourself" at this hotel. That's reflected in what they charge. We went up on "motorcycle weekend." Had no idea we would encounter 50, 000 motorcycles. I immediately asked for a top floor back corner room. It was quiet. The front rooms must have been a nightmare with the noise of motorcycles. Our room was very nice. The "Charlie Restaurant" in the hotel was very good. Parking was easy. You are very close to where the action is. Restaurants on the lake and live music. We had a good time. We are Ritz Carlton people, so it must have been okay staying at the Courtyard if we liked it. We will go back again and get the same room.

Great Marriott property. Our team has had several events here and service has been top notch each time.Rooms are comfortable and hotel staff is very friendly. Establishment is well kept.A short walk to downtown Saratoga.

We are at the hotel and just walked in after a long tiring day of white water rafting. The 5th floor is reeking of cigarette smoke!! When we called the front desk they bluntly denied it. We are here with kids and these sham of service providers don’t even care to put this issue to a proper end other than shutting us down. If the management of this hotel looks at this review, please some sense into these knuckleheads and educate them of the difference between cigarette smoke and musty smell. We are not that naïve!!!!

My organization had a two day staff event for over 40 employees and there families. The staff was great, especially Terry and Chris the two ladies who took care of everything over in the Excelsior Building. The Rooms were clean and updated. The pool was just OK but the kids loved it anyway.

Overall an ok hotel. Main issue is that it is overall quite dated. The hot water took 1 or 2 mins to work. Heaters are old and it drys out the air more than an airplane. I am a gold level member. Not only didn’t we receive an upgrade. They prepared a room one level below the lobby for us.Breakfast doesn’t have a kids price. Many guests simply paid for adults. We paid for the kid as well and don’t quite think $15 is a good price compared to what’s offered.

Being the members of the Marriott and is a elite platinum, I was upgraded to the suite but rather regretted it. The room is very old and furniture is breaking down soon. Toilet is in bad shape with so dim lighting . No frills here as everything you need to pay from water to breakfast. The service is great and the gym room is rather small. Looks clean and decent hotel to stay.
