Great breakfast. Everything so fresh and made to order. We eat here every time we are in the area on vacation. If we lived closer we’d be here every week. Service is friendly and professional. FYI cash only.

We chose this spot because of it's retro diner feel. We had the typical american breakfast: bacon, eggs, home fries, toast and coffee plus pancakes. Service is good, prompt, no fuss, quick and friendly and affordable. Service with a smile and while they check on you to see if all is well or if you want anything else, they also let you be to enjoy. They are friendly and caring. We liked it so much we had breakfast again the next day. If you like retro style breakfast, this is it. It's a good diner. The coffee was average but good enough to start the day with. We would definitely try this place again.

Friendly staff, great traditional dishes and locals combine to make this a must for breakfast. The egg combination plates or omelets or pancakes equal traditional breakfast, but the staff and locals make it truly American.

They do not accept cards or check and have a ATM on site that charges 1 dollar per withdraw. Menu is a regular breakfast menu, ordered our breakfast and it was on the table with 5 minutes which kinda makes me believe it's all precooked, breakfast was warm enough to eat. Would go again just because it's quick decently priced but I'll bring cash next time.

A simple dinner with standard breakfast and lunch fare in the downtown area. Quick and courteous service. The tables are a bit cozy and they are a cash-only establishment, though they have an ATM if you need it, it's good to know that ahead of time. Has some neat sports memorabilia as decor.

Excellent service, excellent value. Choose Comptons twice for breakfast while visiting from Florida. Highly recommended!

We alway seek out diners for breakfast when we travel and Compton's is a diner right in the center of downtown Saratoga. Breakfast of good, but I did miss Vermont maple syrup (or New York syrup) as an option with my french toast. Great sausage patties, though. And my husband got his eggs exactly as he likes them.

Great food and friendly staff. I stopped here twice to eat breakfast and both times the service was great. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. The prices are a juat a little high for breakfast, but well worth the quality and quantity of food. I'll be a repeat customer when I'm in the area!

An absolute Hidden Treasure in plain site on the main street!Lisa and her minions are absolute charmers for service and the food is High quality, prompt and delicious. Very cordial, no frills and and always a pleasant dining experience. Been there dozens of times.

Sat down for a quick lunch with my wife, and I got a Bacon Cheese Burger, very good food, quick service, very reasonable prices, geared towards the students at Skidmore College. Definitely worth going back again.
