Rice was soft but gummy, loaded in sesame so all I tasted was that. My California roll had no crab meat, and they forgot the lunch special came with a salad. Service wasnt that great either, I felt awkward asking for things or correcting them. I couldn't finish my roll, so I guess you can say it was at least filling.
I hate to write a bad review because their rolls are pretty good but I have to say the customer service and attitude I got from the lady who answered the phone was terrible. I ordered four rolls and they only send a small pill cup with a teaspoon of soy sauce in it for the four rolls. The woman proceeded to tell me that her customers know to order more soy sauce. I told her I am a customer because I paid you for the food. She kept arguing with me about it that I finally told her I'll never order from them again because of the attitude and how cheap they are with their soy sauce. Great sushi. FYI for delivery much cheaper if u order directly with store.
Asked multiple times for extra soy sauce on my order for delivery with two roll orders. Only sent one tiny soy sauce. This has happened more than once with them.
Yo I have never been to a restaurant where they say I can’t change my food or not eat what I didn’t like they were seriously telling me that I can’t have another dish instead of what I got. What kind of restaurant does that. I wasn’t rude or anything said it politely and they still was being extra never coming here again
Great food that hasn’t change over the years! Very inexpensive. Fast and great service. Frozen mug for the beer is rare to find
Ordered take out was promised 15-20 minutes but have been waiting for 1 hr. I wouldn’t have minded the 1 hr wait but you keep saying 5-10 minutes every time I ask when my food would be ready.
Decent sushi, help is nice too
This spot is my favorite. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very chummy and the cooking they serve is so good. I never decline to have a nice dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Beware!! I very seldom and rarely post negative reviews about restaurants or experiences unless it's an absolute must. We sat to dine in and our server had presented menus that had one price and when the bill was received, It was much higher than anticipated (almost double). I brought this to our servers attention and she then presented a completely different menu with mini sticker prices that had covered the original prices with higher prices hand written in. She then explained that because of covid-19, the prices were raised and they hadn't had a chance to adjust all the menu prices and that we had ordered from the "old menus". We are "globe traveling foodies" and the only time I've encountered this practice was once across seas (wont mention the nation but was in north Asia) needless to say that this deceptive practice can happen anywhere but this was my experience. I understand since the pandemic, business has been challenging but there are other ways to maintain integrity.The food is average, I would give a 6 out of 10. The rolls were very loose and were falling apart when we tried to lift it with chopsticks. However the Godzilla and the whitefish tempura roll were tasty.
