We spoke to the proprietor at the door as they were busy and we weren’t sure if we wanted to sit. He said ‘we have a table available here,’ and gestured towards the nearest table. Then he said ‘ can you take your headphones off?’ I said ‘No, I can’t’, so he shouted something in Italian to the staff who all looked at me as if I was being rude. Needless to say we left as I’m autistic and need my headphones on for my noise sensitivity. I know I didn’t explain why I was wearing them but it was obvious I could hear him and I don’t see why I should.
I found a bug in my food!!! Poorly packed! I ordered the shrimp salad, barely gave 4 shrimps in entire meal! Was eating and noticed the lettuce was so dry they didn’t even wash it and when I was eating I found a whole bug in between the lettuce from not being washed properly!! Would give 0 stars if I could! Never again!
Over the last two years we have had several family events and been gifted with catering from La bottegga. Maria has been lovely to deal with, delivery was punctual and hot upon arrival. Each time our guests raved about the paninis and the pasta dish with peas and sausage was excellent. Yesterday was no exception. Sadly we have nothing left. It was that good. Highly recommend.
Messed up my order and would not take responsibility, blamed doordash even though they packed the food. Got very nasty with me on the phone. would not stop to listen to what was wrong. Terrible customer service. Does not "understand" how to deal with customers.I will never eat from there again because of this sour experience.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Bad experience all around. They do not care about customer service anymore. Orders are always wrong and they BLAME doordash as an excuse. Do not waste your money. Go somewhere else where they care about their customers ????

Love the menu and the food but new food allergies came up and they won’t accommodate us! Such a shame!
They don’t listen to you when you place your order, DON’T BUY FOOD FROM HERE , I called and got yelled at by someone after telling them it is not what I ordered!! McDonald’s definitely a better recommendation!!!
I love the food at La Bottega. The salads are great. They give you bread with olive oil. This location does not have much room for dining in.
