Well, just traveled from Colorado to New York. Bought a boatload of Zweigles ($130 worth) at a Wegmans in Geneva to take back home. I’ve had these hotdogs my entire life, and never had one issue, until tonight! We threw a picnic pac on the grill. White hits were as expected. The red hots, unfortunately, we’re absolutely nothing like they should be. Red natural casing on the outside. Completely bland whitish colored inside. I couldn’t believe it. Before I said anything, my wife asked me “Is there something wrong with the red hots?” I agreed instantly. Very disheartening to spend that much and have a result like that. Much of what I purchased was for friends in Colorado that were from Rochester, or are familiar with the brand because I have been touting them for 45 years. What a drag!

I lived in Rochester area many years ago and learned about Zweigle’s and especially their hot dogs. When I travel through that area I go out of my way to buy a supply of them. They are without a doubt the best.
