Wimpy is one of my new favorite spots, for a quick bit to eat for you and friends of if dining alone. You can come grab a bit, try sitting in or take out. I went in here to get a mobile order and said how's everyone doing loud and clear. No one said anything back. Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had just trying to pick up food. Yes I said trying because their attitudes were so bad I didn't even wanna pick up that food so I canceled it. I'm glad I only ate here once and go figure the food was....subpar. I figured it's a no brainer it would match the hospitality. One girl literally half way threw the tray at me across the counter with tons of attitude. That's when I knew I wouldn't be the one picking up this order. Good luck to whoever did they are horrible in there. I didnt make you work at Wimpy's. ?
This is our first time there. Garbage plate, milkshake and the burger was good. We had stake sub. It was not good at all. It was just meat and cheese sauce. quesadilla was not ok. But not the best. Price was very reasonable.
Had a horrible experience. I ordered online for pick up when I got there staff was miserable and my food was cold. A few different things were wrong with my order as well. It also all looked and tasted microwavable and could of saved money eating at home. I had also ordered some milkshakes for a few family members and they had such a strong flavor of syrup it was inedible.
I have a couple of different opinions based on what menu item I ordered. The garbage plates are fantastic and in my top three for the city of Rochester. For the rest of the menu items, for example, the Ruben was not so good. The tacos I would highly recommend Wimpy's regardless of my two Slightly below-average food encounters. The reason being is there is such a large selection that it would be impossible for me to give this restaurant an accurate review based on only trying three things on the menu I have experienced. I would recommend going here and trying the garbage plate if you are a garbage plate fan. as far as the rest of the menu; I would still recommend trying as many of the items as possible as I can almost promise you you will find something else that you love as well.
By far worst food I’ve ever had from here used to be pretty good and would go often and will never go back again after tonight. Fry’s we’re raw the Dino logs were not fried enough and for the extras I got charged there was almost none of the “extra” charge topping on it. Milk shake was blended the entire brownie was just smashed in the bottom. Workers don’t look up from there phone when talking to you and mumble at the floor all around just terrible experience.
Ordered the double cheeseburger with fries and onion rings and the food was awesome! Onion rings are the beer batter style not breaded which is great. Restaurant was clean, staff was fine, restaurant does get a little smokey from the grill but that doesn't bother me.
Ok amazing place, we’ve order a few times and always great food, but every now and then a place has a blunder, but the owner Liz went way above and beyond to correct the issue. This place is a business and businesses want to make money but this place really cares about their customers, thank you again sooooo much.
I’m a frequent customer of wimpy’s on Buffalo road. I’ve been really disappointed with their food and service for the past two months. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt because I’ve had great experiences with them. The food has been lackluster and carelessly thrown together. This time I received all flat wings, barely any sauce and a few fries scattered in the mix that I’m sure came from the bottom of the oil they were fried it. Do better!
Poor experience! The staff was unfriendly, the woman at the register was actually playing on her phone while taking my order. No hi, no thanks, no good bye. Food was ok, my wife's burger was undercooked and pink in the middle. Restaurant was full of smoke. I had to clean my own table because it was dirty. One of the styrofoam cups they gave me for my drink had black grime on the rim. Im not going back, once was enough for me.
