Been going here for 6 years. They never disappoint. If you want to try many dim sum dishes, bring a friend and you can easily get try 7-9 dishes for under $20 per person before tax/tips.
First timer tonight, ordered beef broccoli in oyster sauce.. Excellent!! Spring rolls and pot stickers (dumplings) were so fresh, absolutely rated correctly. Owners are wonderful and have been in business 11 years; that says a lot by itself.Made when you order it. Don’t even think of passing it by, they also have Vietnamese and Thai offerings.
The crab rangoons were good. Everything else was not. The vegetarian roll was frozen inside. Our glasses of water had specks in them. The general tsos wasn’t flavorful, didn’t look good, and had no spice. The lo mein was just average.
This is a hidden gem. Dont come if you are after decor and atmosphere. But the food is authentic and amazing. I did not expected much but it blew me away. Shrimp wonton noodle is as authentic as it gets, with the broth seasoned with dry fish powder. Dim sum is among some of the best I've ever had. I'm on business trip at Rochester for only 5 days and I visited twice. Come dine at this place, you won't be disappointed.
The service was great here! My waitress was so kind & the cozy n quiet atmosphere so nice. Those fried dumplings and drink were the bomb .com?, I would pass on the beef brisket and tofu next time though.
Great dimsums and Chinese food. The drinks were very nice as well, from bubble tea to coffee.Great homey atmosphere.Price was alright, a little bit on the expensive side.
I took my visiting family here for dim sum last week. Excellent, authentic dishes and very courteous staff. I highly recommend!
I've never known that Rochester has such delicious Chinese food. The price was cheap, the quantity was large and it was very delicious! I was surprised that it came out soon after I ordered it. Anyway, it was delicious. I am on a diet. However, I decided to overeat on this day.
One of my favorite places in Rochester! They have a vast menu with affordable prices and generous portion sizes. Fruit smoothies are made from actual fruit
White Swan is a hidden gem in Rochester. After going for the first time last year, I have been returning ever since. From their wide selections of food to their delicious dim sum, this place really does it right! As someone who grew up in a Chinese household, I have noticed the details and care they put into their food. The other night, I ordered the vegetable lo-mein and I noticed that they took off the ends of the snow peas in my noodles. It is very common in Chinese household to put that extra labor into our cooking because we believe it will make a difference in the taste. Although I do not expect that level of care, as it is labor-intensive, I was pleasantly surprised by White Swan and appreciate those small details in their food.
