normally I LOVE Wegmans and don't prefer to shop anywhere else but today we went and the girl at the register was 1. wearing gloves without ever sanitizing them so if she touched anything contaminated everything she touches is now too so thanks for that 2. she couldn't be bothered to sanitize anything in between customers like they're supposed to be doing right now and 3. another employee was standing near the ice cooler hacking up a lung with no mask, why she was even at work and not sent home is beyond me.

Wegmans is the best. You can't find more dedicated staff, even now. I love Wegmans.
Wegmans is a blessing for people. Irondequoit Wegmans has very nice people that work there. Reading some replies, the only problem I have had there was rude customers that drop meat packages in the cleaning aisle, drink half a soda and leave it in the cereal aisle. Wegmans has however taken over many products, that makes me no longer use coupons. I do spend more when using coupons, having to purchase 2 or more. For large families that is great but it’s just my hubby and I so I don’t stock up any more. If you dislike Wegmans for any reason then shop elsewhere.
Customer service rep (no name tag on) was horrible!! Manager was even worse! When I asked to speak to the manager he walked up with food in his hands and apparently was in such a hurry to eat that he brushed off the situation. Horrible experience there today and I’ve shopped there for many many years. it’s obvious that the employees are not a great representation of what good customer service really is. I work in retail and I would never treat a customer under any circumstances as I was today.
Bad experience in customer service
We went for lunch and a little light shopping. The food was great, as always. Wegman's never disappoints.

The fresh bread selection is excellent. Cakes, cookies, bagels are always great. The staff is friendly. Bread slicing is available for whole loaves
