I tried their chicken pho for the first time and it was great! Our waitress was wonderful and we had a great experience overall. The restaurant itself is small but feels welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back.
I was given the wrong order and when I called to complain I was told there isn't much they can do I got the order.Well what should have be done was to give me an apology. I ordered two of the same meals. I can not control how the person on the other end of the phone recite the order back to the cook.What I do know is I will no longer do business with you anymore. Customer Service is important to me. I do not want to pay for food I did not order. The error was not mine it was yours .

WOW! This is some craveable food!I work in town and stay overnight on the weekends. Before my first trip to Tokyo, I scoured reviews to find an excellent place for dinner. I found it and keep coming back!I usually sit right at the sushi counter. I love watching them make these beautiful, edible works of art! The sushi menu is massive and everything is SUPER fresh! It's so difficult to pick just 1 item on the main menu because as I read, my mouth just waters for everything. I'm convinced you can't go wrong with a single dish. Meals are cooked to perfection and loaded with flavor. The amount of food you get (especially for the price) can't be beat! I leave with a full belly and a stuffed to-go container for lunch the next day.The decor is quaint and comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy, clean and welcoming. The staff is another one of my favorite aspects of this restaurant! After my first visit they knew my name and welcome be back each week with a smile! They are excellent about vegetarian and vegan orders.Tokyo is a gem! I hope if anyone out there reading reviews looking for excellent food reads this and stops here! You won't be disappointed!
I am so confused with the ratings here. Maybe we just hit on a bad day, but I feel like I threw $80 in the trash (because that’s basically what happened). The tempura, mushy. We did pick it up, so Maybe that contributed, but I’ve had to-go tempura Many times and it’s never been that soggy/mushy. The sushi was eh, the Chirashi had several pieces that were barely edible, and the rice was the furthest thing from sushi rice I’ve ever had, missing the necessary rice vinegar, sweet and salty flavors that make it sushi rice…it was just cooked rice. The mango sticky rice was ok, but there was still peel left on the mango slices, they were about an hour from being rotten (brown mushy spots all over), and the pieces were gigantic, I’m worried to not make how rotten it was so obvious. We were deciding between 3 places, and chose here solely because of the ratings…definitely will try the slightly lower rated options next time.
Tokyo is our favorite restaurant! We live 2 hours away and make the trip often to visit this wonderful gem. Delicious food, exceptional service, cozy atmosphere! The owners and their team (Josh, waiter extraordinaire) are so friendly and welcoming. Go! Support this great restaurant! We highly recommend the Tuna Tataki and the New York Roll. Soooo good!!!
My Chirashi dinner was OK. I did not have any fish egg and the sushi rice was meh. The side of rice served with Sashimi was not even sushi rice. Tasted like Uncle Ben's! Overall we had higher hopes with all the great reviews. Service was good!
