We had just gotten married two days ago and we are so compelled to write a review because of how fantastic the Wintergarden was during the entire wedding process.It started with meeting with Taylor over a year ago to discuss what we would envision our wedding to look and feel like. We were very impressed by Taylor’s knowledge and confidence as well how easy it was to work with her. The venue was also gorgeous! This was the one and only place that we looked at because we knew that this was going to be an excellent fit and we were definitely not disappointed.Throughout the year, we would touch base with Taylor and always had prompt responses. As the wedding got closer and more real, we would start to get into the nitty gritty. They had so many decorative rentals in their storage that it made it very easy and affordable to add an extra splash to the table. They were able to even accommodate us on requests that they usually don’t do, without even batting an eye. And it looked amazing on the day of the wedding.On the actual day of the wedding, we could not have asked for a better venue and staff. The light that bounced around in that room during the day, as the sun was setting, and during the evening made the venue look surreal. Unofficial pictures from our guests look like professional pictures with how beautiful the lighting was. The staff was hands down phenomenal. They were so friendly and so attentive to not only our requests, but also to that of our guests. Everything felt like it went seamlessly together because of how good of a team they have at the Wintergarden.And then, there’s the food. This was probably the most important aspect of the wedding to us. And boy did they mail it. Britany was super attentive and got us a tray of appetizers so that we would not miss out on any of the appetizers while still being able to chat with the guests. The seafood bar was an instant hit. Guests could not believe how delicious it was but that it was limitless too. Most of the guests were so impressed by the choices that were presented at the cocktail hour that they were pretty full and content with the evening even if they did not get an entree. But then the entrees came out and I cannot tell you how many guests were just simply amazed by them. They were cooked perfectly and the portion size was impressive. Follow that up with dessert and a late night snack, we were quite confident that no one left even remotely thinking about what their next meal would be.We cannot the Wintergarden and its staff for creating an environment that was so perfect for our big day. Had the pleasure to host our wedding reception here. From beginning to end our experience here was excellent. Taylor and her team put together our dream night. The bartending and kitchen staff did a wonderful job serving all of our guests efficiently. The food was incredible. When we remember our wedding day, it will be nothing but wonderful memories thanks to this beautiful venue.Also, the people complaining about the acoustics are wrong.
We had a wedding at the Wintergarden 1/14/22. Taylor was our event planner and I truly cannot express how thankful I am that she was there. The Wintergarden made it so easy to plan the wedding. From the tasting for food selection to the timeline of the day to asking about vendor experiences (she helped me find a MUA and an officiant a month before the wedding thank god), Taylor made it so incredibly easy. They were so accommodating to our dogs that were in our ceremony and helped us adjust to the constantly changing guest list (thanks COVID). Everything that I felt I should be stressed about just melted away as we got closer to the day because of their support. The food was delicious and the serving sizes are huge! My only suggestion is to bring a container for leftovers because I'm still sad I was too full to eat all of the food (and desserts)! While the ticket price might seem high, I can promise you, you will get your money's worth.
I am so excited to rave about this place and everyone who works there! My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Wintergarden in September of 2021, and it was nothing short of perfect. Every detail was beautifully put together: the bridal and groom lounges offered quiet, fully separate spaces to get ready prior to the ceremony; the table arrangements at the reception gorgeous, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the team of coordinators (Taylor & Jennifer), servers, and bartenders were gracious, supportive, and extraordinarily helpful. Months later, we still have friends mentioning that the Wintergarden was the most gorgeous and unique wedding venue they had ever seen!Leading up to the wedding, the team at the Wintergarden (especially Taylor) was incredibly responsive, communicative, and helpful. They addressed all of our COVID-related concerns (e.g., the potential need to cancel or limit our guest list, changes in serving requirements, etc.) and toured us around the venue not just once, but three times (once to meet them and see the venue for the first time, another time to see the venue decorated for a wedding, and finally to show the venue to our in-laws who were visiting from out-of-state). Each time, they only added to our excitement and offered suggestions for decor, set-up, and planning.If you are considering booking your wedding here, DO IT! We recently had a beautiful evening reception for our daughter’s wedding at The Wintergarden. It was beyond beautiful and simply elegant! Taylor the Coordinator and all of the staff were well organized, kind and helpful and were there for us whenever we needed them.The food at the cocktail hour and the dinner (especially the steak!) was all delicious with no complaints. Many guests came in from around the country as well as internationally, and all said they were so impressed that Rochester NY had such a wonderful and beautiful event space! I would not hesitate to plan another event here or recommend the beautiful Wintergarden!
Went to a wedding at the WinterGarden by Monroe last night. Have been to many weddings and event thru the years. It was by far the best wedding we have ever gone to. Both for decor, beautiful windows, stellar staff and service, the food was amazing both dinner and appetizers on the second floor bar area. The highest service and class event we have ever experienced. If you have the opportunity to book an event there or go to an event there , enjoy fully, you are experiencing some of the best Rochester area has to offer. A complete A++++ event in our book. We recently had our daughter's wedding at the Wintergarden and it was wonderful! Everything was gluten free, from appetizers to entrees to desserts and it was all excellent. From beginning to end Taylor and her team did an excellent job. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!!
The Wintergarden is a beautiful venue! The food and the staff were excellent! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
