I've had a handful of vegetarian entrees and all have been good; the sheep's pie and tikka masala in particular are excellent.FYI the owner also owned Tap and Mallet.
Great English style pub. Beers and food are excellent. Prices are a bit high. Limited seated and service is a little slow but acceptable. When it comes to beer and food quality it's hard to beat.
Remodeled and clean. Kitchen was shut down when we got there. Drinks and service were great. Bartenders on point!
Sadly stunningly pedestrian compared to past restaurants owned by Mr McBane.Limited beer selections, unexceptional entrees.Very much just a neighborhood kind of place that is nothing special. Been there a couple times now,It’s just not worth going back to sad to say.
Food was fine, nothing spectacular but fine. Good amount of parking available. Nice large booths and a very large bar area. We envied the wallpaper and enjoyed the artwork. It took a really long time after we asked for a check to get it. Would go back but am not in a rush to do so.
I liked the mashed potatoes , they were awesome. Had the B.e.s.t sandwich but it was a little dry. Really liked their other restaurant the Tap and Mallet! Rip T&M!
We were big fans of Tap & Mallett, and both wish Joe McBain great success in his next chapter. Enjoyed the Sheffield and will be back!
Had takeout again this weekend. Food was as usual amazing and the best burgers in town by far!!!…….. Maybe add the Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos from the Tap menu??
