Service was slow. Drinks stayed empty for a long time. Chicken French tasted like bleach and had to be sent back.

I have been going to the Retreat for years!! I have always had an awesome experience, especially during football season. The beer selection and prices for pitcher’s are some of the best around! The food is amazing I always come for the gator breath wings and Mac in the basement what else more could you ask for. The staff is always nice and willing to get you whatever you want on the menu! Danielle and Eric have owned the retreat for years and they know how to give the best service!! Keep up the awesome work and I will definitely be back again for sure!
Last night the Retreat lost a long time customer and consistent customer due to the owner Danielle and the way she has continually treated customers over the past few months. Called to place a weekly wing order , and asked before placing order if I could pay by card over the phone, was told yes I can so I proceed to order , after ordering and getting ready to pay I'm told I can not pay over phone ....fine whatever I'll pay when I pick up. During that time a member of my fily left the house yo grab coffee and took the credit card with them, when i noticed I called the retreat back to simply delay my order for 30 minutes until I could get there or if they were ready to inform them I'll be late but it's fine if they are already cooked . Danielle then decided this was the time to berate the customer on the phone and accuse me of wasting her money , even tho i simply called to say I'd be a little later . She continued on her rant until I did finally tell her we would not be picking up , paying or ever coming back. This is not a single event , these types of occurrences are fairly regular with her as she talks with a extremely aggressive and disrespectful tone (no , not just to me , I've witnessed this atleaat a dozen times while being in the bar) Both bars in that plaza are dieing , you'd think theyd want to keep customers that actually are regulars but apparently not, might be why finding help is so difficult and she's forced to waitress while he bartends
