great atmosphere. good time
After such a wonderful experience last time, we returned to a complete different experience. First, you can no longer sit in the main portion of the restaurant. You are directed out back to the outdoor tent, where we waited for more than 5 minutes before being acknowledged. Since it was sprinkling and a bit chilly, we asked to be seated inside. We were told to seat ourselves. We initially picked a booth in the back, but the very cold ac was blowing on us and it was uncomfortable. We moved to the front to a small table, where we waited another 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Looking around, we noticed the room was dark and dingy, in need of a major refurbishment. We finally ordered our meals . my wife got the roast beef again, which she enjoyed, but I tried the turkey dinner and was sorely disappointed. The portion was so small I thought perhaps I had gotten a kiddie portion by mistake. Our server was also taking care of the outside, where she paid lots of attention to an older gentleman who seemed to have major issues. Since this place is a good half hour ride for us, we probably won't be returning.
Where else do where go for the best home cooked food and hospitality? Here at the Original Char Broil! We've been coming for years since our Mom Dede loved coming here. Recently we had a great salad suggested by our waitress Meredith that was perfect in every way: "The Junior Cobb!" Thank you Meredith and including everyone at Char Broil. The best restaurant in Rochester!!!
Great food and amazing customer service!!! Loves the burger plate there and even can get ice cream afterwards!!! My baby loved sitting outside and watching all the people go to the water next door!!
We were at the Charbroil House for dinner the other night and they never disappoint. Food is always delicious and prompt. Our waitress Nancy was awesome, as all the staff is. PS best onion rings!
I love sitting out under the big tent for dinner. I've had nothing but really good food when we have eaten there. Also it's great to see the owner Dave walking around talking to his patrons‼️ Definitely go and eat there ‼️‼️
I did take out and everything was ready as promised when I arrived. My meal was not a hot as I would have liked it to be when I arrived home but that good have been because it took me 15 minutes to get back home. As always my daughter and I enjoyed our choices. We will continue to dine it and do take out and we will certainly continue to recommend and tell others about both the good food and service that is provided.
Charbroil is a great place to eat. We enjoy their sweet potato fries and their chocolate milkshakes as well as many other items on their menu. The staff is friendly and provides great service. They have a great selection of soups as well.
Great place. Love the food, love the new Bar. Servers are great. Always have a great time, inside or out side. Been coming here for many years, friends and family.
Food is so good! Owners are friendly! Family owned! Can't say enough good things about Charbroil! Great burgers. Always enjoy breakfasts!
