Always good, always fast. Ask for what you want and it's done. I ordered the special fried rice it was great. A huge portion. Tried my best to eat it all but couldn't finish. This place has been there a long time (for a good reason)
Great food, service, atmosphere and spotlessly clean! The owner is very welcoming, and the servers are excellent. I think this is the best Asian restaurant in the greater Rochester area.
Large restaurant by the highway with even bigger portions. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. What’s even better than the food might be the service. The waitress was super friendly and made the dining experience even better

Good quality food with wonderful flavors! My wife had Sesame Chicken and I had ... However, both liked my meal best. Proportions were quite big for a lunch combo with soup included. Food prices were a couple of dollars each more than I expected, but the meal quality, flavors and volume justified the premium price.The staff was very professional, polite and responsive.We will go out of our way to come back soon!
A mixed experience at the King & I... Host brusque, not welcoming. Server hurried us through our drink orders right away. Brought the drinks. Then left us for dead. After more than 30 minutes, finally succeeded in getting server's attention. Once re-establishing that we were that server's table, we ordered. Then our meals arrived very quickly and piping hot. The food was very good. I've eaten at/from The King & I ~once a year for ~20 years. This was the best ever. Perhaps because it was hot? Perhaps I finally found the right dish (Spicy Lemon Grass Vegetable)? Perhaps new chef? ...? I have been told ownership changed within the past couple of years.
Food is great but service can be lot better. Not sure if it’s just a language barrier or staff is rude ! Non accommodative . I have been to many many Thai places and for the matter of fact these people are very warm, very polite. So this behavior was strange- they didn’t even help with simple phone charging request!
Tasty food at a reasonable price. I enjoyed a spicy seafood dish and my friend had a tofu dish. The portions were generous; the food was decent. I went at dinnertime; service was initially prompt, waters kept full. My only criticism - it took awhile to get the check after we finished.
My husband and I love Thai food. The King and I is our go-to spot. I've been coming here since I was in college in 2000. The staff is always pretty friendly, and the food is amazing. It really hasn't changed that much.
This place is always busy, for a reason! You'll still find a good seat, the wait isn't long. Dishes can be requested gluten free & menu has something for everyone.
