Great atmosphere and the food was delicious! The drinks were well made and very good ?

I visited The Distillery on Mt Hope last night, and it was a very disturbing experience. First thing I noticed while waiting to be seated, my wife and I were in line with many other people. As we were being seated, we were taken to the back area near the kitchen where other people were also seated. I declined a center table because we preferred a booth which left the center table open. With the amount of people that were waiting, I was sure someone would be seated there. The area were in was all african american, and some may say coincidence but I disagree. All the people waiting in line were Caucasian. None of the were seated in the back. About 30min later another black couple walks in and where are they seated? In the back with the rest of us. Honestly, it felt segregated. Needless to say they aren't the only restaurants using this "Sit Them Together" code. I ordered a buffalo Chicken wrap, and as you can see from the pic, the only thing I didnt get was chicken (the chunks are Bleu Cheese). Its was just horrible.

Pros:*Wings were a great size and perfectly crispy*Loaded fries were very goodCons:*Place was pretty dirty. Menu was sticky and gross. Floor underneath the table was pretty horrifying.*Wings were $20 for 10! Would've been perfect if they weren't very salty*Ranch that came with the fries did not taste good. Just tasted like Red Hot mixed with Ranch. Recommend just asking for regular Ranch for the fries.*Paid $2 for a side of apple sauce and it was super tiny. It was served in a dipping cup lol

Food was good. Prices were reasonable. Service was OK - could have been more attentive. Our party had hamburgers, nachos, shrimp scampi, and chicken fajita.

Shrimp Scampi wasn't warm and not many shrimps, it was more like Pasta Scampi. The greeter and waitress were wonderful. I know, we should of sent them back for lack of warmth. Not sure if the food sat out too long before it was taken to table. May need a warming lite to keep it warm?

Had a fish fry and it was really fish, French fries were old and refried and still cold. Service was very poor, music was horrendous. Don't waste your time. Not very clean and ladies room was upstairs. Not a five star as they are supposedly rated wouldn't give it a 2.

We went there for happy hours and watch basketball. It was nice place to hangout with friends. Good margarita and wings. We had fried green beans as well. That was so good. And fried pickles. We had a big group. Nice vibe. Somewhat expensive .

Food was great but pricey. I ordered food my four kids, myself and my husband, and everything came up to over $100. I haven't been to this place in years, but I never remembered it being this expensive. Despite the price, the food was still good. I tried a new type of chicken and it was delicious. The one negative was the bathroom, so small. But the food and the waitress made up for it. We had a large group, and she did a good job of ensuring we were taken care of.

Hasn't lost any speed on fastball... wings as good as ever. A gem in Rochester... twenty plus years since previously visited and just as amazing.

We went for dinner around 730pm. Thought safe bet as far as crowds go. Still extremely busy, although we did get seated right away. The waiter wasn't very attentive but ultimately apologized due to business. He did give a nice discount on our check. It was just frustrating because we were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and though the food was good, it took a long time to come out and even longer for one dessert. With all this said, the wings, Buffalo chicken sandwich and the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream AMAZING! So I'd go back again.
