We had such a wonderful dining experience at Cub Room. The drinks were delicious, and the bartender was able to make one off the cocktail menu into a mocktail for a non drinker in our group. We had an excellent server who clearly explained everything off the menu and provided wonderful suggestions for our group. Our party of 6 ordered a ton of appetizers - most were delicious but the sizes were pretty small. Our mains were tasty, but again some of the portions were smaller and some were massive. Overall though the experience and vibe were amazing.

Big shout out to our favorite waiter Sean ❤️He's is absolutely the greatest!!!!The cub room is one of my favorite places in all of Rochester!!!!!

I visited the Cub Room for the first time this evening (Thursday) with a friend and we had a wonderful experience. We had the octopus appetizer and the paella special for dinner. Both were excellent. Our server, Benjamin, was one of the best I've ever encountered. He provided thorough explanation of the menu, offered suggestions, was attentive and accommodating. Overall I would highly recommend the Cub Room for dinner.

Wide open space with a seasonal menu. Pasta dishes were fantastic but small servings so the appatizers are a must. The steak is grass fed and very lean so order slightly more rare that your usual. The waitress was lovely and took the extra effort to explain all the small touches of each of the dishes.

The food looked amazing, tasted nice but the portion sizes were small. We ended up going home and eating cup noodles.

The food was delicious! Wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Only cons would be there was quite a bit of confusion over what food and drinks went to which table the night we were there. It was extremely busy, to be fair. We had to wait an hour and a half to get our dinners. Prices were definitely on the higher end, but we felt the experience made it still a good value. We will go back again, but probably not on a Friday or Saturday night.

I have dined here many times. I was appalled that my reservation was cancelled as I was late! I had reservation for 7:15. We were there on time but took a while to get parked. We were in the restaurant at 7:20 waiting our turn to get seated. It was 7:28 by the time we were at the desk. Initially she was not able to locate our booking but then casually said that it was cancelled and were told to sit at the bar. The cocktails were OK. The food was mediocre at best. I have had some excellent meals there in the past. This has been a restaurant I have been frequenting regularly with friends and colleagues but I doubt I would ever go back. I did not express my displeasure just not to spoil our special evening further.

The best meal my family has ever had. Each bite was enjoyed. Our server, Benji was amazing.

Upscale dining with a nice mix of music. Our server was named Benjamin (Benny) and he was wonderful he explained all the items and struck up great conversation. Our food was AMAZING!! WE started off with the appetizer devils on horseback. I recommend that if you have never tried it. Next was the Fois Grois. Never had it before and it melted like butter in the mouth. It's a thing where I wanted to try at least once but not something I would do alot since I know how it's made. Very great tasting though. I have had the Amish chicken before and had it again. It's very well seasoned and so tender. The bolognese was not as good as the Amish chicken. The drink were amazing and you can actually taste the alcohol which is great especially for how much they cost. The best way to top off the night was the store dessert. Hand down the best dessert om the menu. Overall the place is wonderful the and the food was wonderful. The food is pricey and not something I would do alot but good for a special occasion. Easily can spend $60-$80 without even noticing.

Incredible atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, and excellent food! I have dined here several times although this was the first brunch visit. Oh boy, was it worth going! We ordered the flat bread, cod fritters, and then main course selections were “leftover” paella, the Cub Benny and the pork chop. The wait staff, Ryan, was fabulous-very informative and also suggested we try a few other things, including the ribs with kimchi pancakes-yum! Everyone at the table was impressed with everything we tried. Cocktails are always very good here too..he brought us an espresso martini to finish with our sweet treat and everyone loved it and wanted to know how to make it at home. I would highly recommend brunch here. Lots of patrons enjoying themselves, including the city’s mayor! We plan on returning again and again.
