It's almost sad that how in Rochester, the city of garbage plates and greesy food, The Burger might have one of the most consistently bomb burgers! Nothing beats Wegmans, and for the price, expect to be blown away!
Went in for fish fry, that is what they call it. It was disgusting!! knew we were in trouble when I could not cut into the fish with the plastic knife. Ended up having to break the fish with my fingers as did my wife. My filet was less than a 1/2" thick. My wife sent hers back but the replacement was not much better. Cold slaw was unusual and a ton of french fries. Wegman's should really be ashamed to serve such garbage particulary with all the white chef hats walking around. Been going to Wegmans for 50 plus years, doesn't seem to get better, just worse.
We ordered three Tuscan fries and two American classic burgers with lettuce and tomato but only received one order of fries and the burgers only had ketchup and relish. How does something like this happen?
Cold fries, small burgers for the cost
I just paid $9 for a tiny burger. The burger was okay but extremely overpriced. I didn’t realize how tiny the patties are. Definitely not getting another one unless they adjust prices. (Readjusted to 3/5 stars instead of two because the customer service was fantastic) <— I felt the urge to complain to the servers etc and they were very understanding, and I kept apologizing because technically it’s my fault (and I try not to complain) for not knowing the burger was so tiny, but a burger called the American Classic Burger seems like it should be a beefy *pun intended* burger. Anyways they gave me free ice cream for my dissatisfaction of the burger so it worked out okay haha
Awesome tasting burger! The welcome back burger with cheese with everything was juicy and tasty. $7.00. The crispy fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Several beers are also available as a drink option. Spotless clean and friendly service. Easy parking.
Excellent food
3 years ago they had a shrimp po boy special and it was amazing! Unfortunately my recent experience was not good. Poor service and the food was horrible. I wish we would of went to McDonald’s across the street instead.
Agree with some of the other reviewers about how this used to be great, but has since gone downhill. Removal of many good menu items, skimpy cheese options, Organic ketchup replaced with HFCS ketchup packets, and no pickles are just a few of the little details that left me disappointed. Sadly won't be going back for the price paid.
