Took an hour to get our first course of sushi and it was mid at best. The all you can eat is definitely not worth it. We were still hungry but did not want to wait half an hour for more mediocre sushi.

This is by far, the best sushi place in town for sushi. Very fresh, best price , that covers soup, salad appetizer, and all you can eat sushi= $40 for two. Located in Henrietta on West Henrietta Rd

The food was fantastic and perfectly crafted. The wait was far too long as there was only one chef and one waitress serving 5-6 tables although they performed admirably and with honor. Overall, go there if you want a LONG evening full of terrific sushi.

We drove from Watertown just to try this sushi restaurant very good food and the sushi chef was very friendly and the service is excellent

First time trying their sushi and it was very good! Nice and fresh! I will definitely be going back! If you haven't tried, you should!

I absolutely love this place! Yes the food takes a while sometimes but it's very reasonably priced and excellent sushi! I've been here half a dozen times at least and I can honestly say it's one of my favorite places if you got some time to kill. The environment is great and people who run the place are up front and very kind and passionate about what they do!

The food and the quality are absolutely amazing, but if there’s more than 3-4 tables than you’re going to be waiting a long time. They simply don’t have the staff to run a time efficient restaurant. The turn over should be about an hour, but you’re going to be waiting for an hour just to have your appetizer and first plate of sushi to come out at the same time. This is my second time here, and it got to the point that I wanted to leave after getting my soup and salad due to the wait being so long. I need to emphasize that this was happening with only 3-5 tables. BUT IF ITS A SLOW NIGHT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

It was awful smallll portion size. Expensive, and it wasn’t even good. It’s hard to make rice that bad. Not to mention the chicken was over cooked and was harder than a steak. Worst Asian food I’ve ever had in my life. Better off going to Costco and getting the microwaveable fried rice. Tastes better and bigger portion. Also they seem to be going out of business, wonder why.

I’ve eaten at Taste of Japan many times, and the food, especially the all-you-can-eat meal, never disappointed me. The food quality is comparable to what you would expect from a good Japanese restaurant. With the $19.9 all-you-can-eat option, you will get complimentary hot tea, miso soup, and salad with an Asian salad dressing that’s not too sweet. In addition, you can order anything on the menu under the Appetizer and dessert sections. On a separate sheet of paper, from which there are various fresh sushi selections you can select.I’m not giving it a five star, because there are areas that the restaurant can improve on. As others have complained, the restaurant is probably short on staff, so the wait time is unexpectedly long. If you are in a rush, I wouldn’t suggest you go there. Expect to make at least 75 min for a satisfying all-you-can-eat sushi experience.

A small, family run restaurant. Fu and his lovely wife Lin were a joy to meet. I could hear people at every table saying “Wow” as they were eating. Fu can be seen preparing the sushi from a work area at the back area of the dining room. People called out to him from their tables to compliment him. Fu very humbly shared that he has been a sushi chef since 1986. My daughter and her husband are long-time sushi fans. I’m still on the “nothing raw please” and “California Roll” level. The all-you-can-eat sushi is $21. It includes your choice of an appetizer, a generous bowl of miso soup (which was amazing), endless (made to order) sushi, and a choice of dessert. I tasted my daughters homemade green tea ice cream l. So creamy! I had the tempura fried cheese cake, and possibly the best cheesecake experience I’ve ever had. This place is worth the wait. Go when you aren’t in a rush. They are a sweet and humble couple who take every order seriously. Very impressed!
