Only reason didn't give 5 ⭐ cause they didn't have any more candied yams LoL. Otherwise, the food was hot and delicious ?
Tried this place out for the first time and the food was amazing. And I recommend trying this place out, they have an excellent menu and the service staff are the best.

Wish Tangie would start cooking ox tails again. Other than that her food is absolutely wonderful. Best soulfood restaurant in Rochester!!

Best Fried Pork Chops I have ever had! Greens were good and candied yams were pure sugar! Yummy!
Went there last week and only got sides but yet I still had to pull in the parking spot and wait which felt like forever even though they said it would be a 10 min wait. They came across cocky, like I needed their business more than they needed mine which is why I don’t support a lot of these businesses. The yams just wasn’t it for me. It had a nasty out the can taste. I rarely ever throw soul food away but this time I did. Don’t plan on ever going back.
Love the food here and the service is one of a kind. They have a great menu and everything on their menu is very affordable too.
Food was hot, delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend this spot it you are looking for home style soul food. My 3 year old’s face instantly lit up when she tasted the Mac and cheese.
The turkey dinner was dry and they did not give me a so what the charge, you have to go on line to see if the food was justifiable.
