Went for dinner and another day for lunch. *They do not have a buffet anymore.* I don't believe there is a lunch menu either, so dinner portions and prices only. The food is good. I particularly enjoyed the vegetable fritters (pakora). The quality of the curry is a step above what you'd get at a buffet in the area.I felt that the entree prices ($~17) were a few dollars more expensive than I was used to... but there has been recent national inflation so I'm sure they're average.

Today was about the fifth time i ordered Uber Eats from Taj Mahal, and let me say, I'm a H U G E fan. Even though I get delivery (you know UE usually takes forever & it's cold when it arrives, Taj's is always steaming hot and super fresh. Very affordable prices, especially considering the enormous portions you get. This time I ordered the mango Curry chicken (they send one if those black large Chinese take out containers for the chicken alone, with a huge bowl of white rice OTS). Super juicy, a little sweet & spicy. I also got a few kulfi, they don't give you an option on flavor. They weren't made in house, but tasty all the same. (They sent me pistachio flavor, my only complaint was that they left it in the bag with the hot food & it was very melty.) Chicken samosas, (hot a crispy, maybe a tiny bit dry, but they included 2 dipping sauces.) And a mango Lassi (like a yogurt drink. It was pretty sweet; which is fine by me. I love sweet stuff, but if you were looking for something a little sharper and more yoghurty, I may try a different flavor.) It was still delicious though. And the true star of the meal, the peshwari Naan. It's like a flat bread with golden raisins and almonds. I don't usually raisins but it was literally to die for. Hot, flaky, a little crunchy in all the right places, with a subtle sweetness. To die for. I order just for that haha. And all this for under $30. I highly recommend ?

The restaurant is clean and customer service is suberp. The food was delicious and excellent. Do not forget to order pheswari Naan. It was delicious.

Best lamb curry I've ever had. This place is great! Been there 2 days in a row and loved each day.

The BEST Indian cuisine we have ever had. The food was perfect from the Samosa down to the Tikka Masala. We had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners. She took the time to explain to us differences in flavoring. We HIGHLY recommend visiting this family ran business that the West side is lucky to have!

We were driving by Rochester towards Buffalo. We chose to go this restaurant because it comes after busy Rochester. But this restaurant was closed at 2 PM and there were no more Indian restaurants to go to. I was so looking forward to Desi food but I wasn't able to until we arrived at buffalo. Thankfully, Clay Handi Restaurant soothed my rage ?

I've always had a great meal here however this time the beef korma was not what I was expecting. The color and flavors were off it was still a good meal but it wasn't what I was wanting.

Authentic food. Great service, everything was made fresh. Took a bit to cook but it was from scratch. Definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the mood!

Slow and bad customer service, we asked the owner if the food was fresh prior to ordering and he confirmed it was. Whilst getting four orders chicken tikka masala, the food was cold and the chicken had a oxidative rancidity taste. I tried approaching the owner privately and nicely about his food and its quality but he became defensive and denied it. I don’t recommend this place, take your money elsewhere.

The food is absolutely fantastic. We've tried something new each time we go, and have yet to be disappointed. The portion sizes are generous, and there are plenty of options to choose from. It has quickly become one of our favorite places.
