Oh my gosh, if I could give Sweet Sammie Jane's 10 stars I would, this place is Oh So Good! I love Creme Brulee and theirs is hands down the best I've ever had! So creamy with an amazing vanilla flavor (you can see the bean flecks in it!), and nice crunchy top. First time having macarons, AMAZING! So crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside with a nice smooth cream filling. I tried 12 flavors and not one disappointed me! Of them all, blueberry cheese cake was probably my favorite but all were delicious. From now on, first stop each time we visit Rochester. Bonus: they can be ordered on Etsy and delivered to your home, which will be happening very soon!
The macaroons is taste not too sweet and is very soft. I wish I could rate more 5 stars! This will be one of my favorite bakery to visit again!!
We got a big assortment of pastries, macarons, and a small cake for our wedding dessert to serve 80+ people. Everything looked and tasted great, and we tried a lot of options! The staff was easy to work with when figuring out the final order and logistics, and the delivery and setup went without a hitch.
Our daughter had these delivered for our Christmas gift. The extra caution that Sweet Sammie Janes takes to get their macarons delivered in perfect condition is amazing! They arrived perfectly!And yes there is one missing from the packaging because I had to taste it to give a review? Absolutely de-lish-ious! Soft, creamy and bursting with flavor on the inside with a delicate outer crust.The perfect gift for this sweet tooth mama!
Best macarons I’ve ever had…yum!!!
I rate 5* based on a few criteria, all of which they blow out of the water! First, they're my favorite macarons in the greater Rochester area, and since I'm GF and all I can eat are macarons, I consider myself picky! Second, every person I've spoken to has been exceptionally kind. I like kind people. And third, when I realized that my mother-in-law and I double ordered macarons for our reception, they were incredibly understanding about refunding. It's a great business run by great people with great product.
