A stop at Swans Market has become an absolute must while visiting family in the Rochester area. The food and the service reminds me of one of the best times of my life - my two weeks in Germany! The people in this are have a treasure, they should never take for granted. How I wish we had a German deli in Nashville.
Come for homade schnitzels, specialty sausages, and snack sausages. Stay for the beer, the wait crew and family style seating and sides like potato salad and red cabbage. A fabulous, delicious experience that you might have stumbled across 40 years. Meet like minded people at 8 seater picnic tables.
If you're looking for German food, this is where you go! Very small but the best customer service in Rochester and you never leave unsatisfied!
Absolutely a place to check out in Rochester. Amazing lunch, fun atmosphere and very friendly, helpful service. Perfect to get rouladen and sausage. Love the German potato salad n red cabbage.
The Jaeger schnitzel, red cabbage and spaetzel were delicious! The rouladen was tender and moist, but needed more pickle.Service was very friendly in a homey environment.Great selection of sausages at the deli.
Fabulous little deli. You can buy sausages and more to go, but it is well worth stopping for lunch. The portions are decent sized and we both cleaned our plates.
Wow! Great atmosphere and awesome German food! I hear the beer ain’t bad either. The people really make this place even more special.

As someone of German descent, we don’t have a lot of these places in Syracuse and I’m so glad I found this place…it is now my favorite restaurant and I plan to tell everyone about how good the food and atmosphere is!
