I've heard a lot of wonderful things about this place, however I went for lunch and my wrap had very little chicken in it (a lot of lettuce) . I just wasn't terribly impressed.
Went for a late dinner on a Wednesday night. Arrived around 7pm. The place was relatively busy but not overwhelmingly so. We opted to eat on the outdoor patio. We waited over an hour for a simple order a sandwich for me and salad for my friend. Not having been served I then went up to the hostess who had seated us and she said they were busy and backed up. I went back to my table and an elderly couple at the next table mentioned they were still waiting for their appetizer after an hour and twenty minutes. Finally we received our food, which was good, after close to an hour and a half. I can understand everyone has bad nights but the server should have come over and assured us they were trying best they can to give us our order. But no one came to our table to at least let us know we hadn’t been forgotten. Too bad because the spot on the bay for outdoor dining is gorgeous but will not be going back.
After a beautiful day kayaking with friends on the bay, what could be better than eating water side with an ice cold drink in hand? Well apparently many things would have been better. Google made me give one star and if I could give zero stars I would. The view was amazing and that's where the positivity ends! Waiting just to get a drink order I aged 2 years and when I asked for a glass to put my beer in that cup was missing like the left sock in the dryer. Quicker to get a drink at the bar but witnessing the waitress drink from a ladies wine glass and proceed to serve it to her..I couldn't believe it till I saw how unattentive our waitress was. Once the food came our waitress was like my dad who went to buy smokes and never came back. Speaking of smoke it's not a smoke free zone outside and I smoked more than snoop dogg and Willie Nelson combined secondhand of course! My wifes food was inedible but was unable to get new food because the waitress disappeared like She was in a David Copperfield magic show! I almost jumped in the bay and swam away but there was no escape from this horror show..stay away!
The picture was the pasta it had no sauce on top when the chicken parm came. It was burnt I'm very little sauce. There was no bread offered there was no salads offered with the meal. It was overpriced and the wedge salad we ordered was $12.99 with five cherry tomatoes and blue cheese. The service was horrendous I tried to ask for the manager three times she never showed up. This was the first time we went and never again. I made a similar statement on their Facebook page and they took it down. I was told this place was great and it doesn't even deserve one star. If they think that the kind of clientele that go there will understand the excuses that they need Cooks and servers it doesn't matter. You never send out inferior product. I do not recommend this place anyone unless you just want to get drunk
I almost gave it a one star rating, but the bang bang shrimp was good. Except it's tail on, which is odd for shrimp covered in sauce, so you don't see the tail at first.However, everything else we had was not delicious. Calamari? Bland and rubbery. We ate two pieces, and put it on the end of the table. The sauce you dip it in? No flavor. Normally a waiter would ask if something was wrong, but not ours. He just picked it up and walked away.He was not a great waiter. Not attentive, didn't ask how things were, but anyway.New England clam chowder? Eh. Wasn't bad, but had a weird after taste, and it was cold.Main dinner was two fish fry. Beer battered.They were the most tasteless fish fry ever. Literally had no flavor. Either one. The batter had no flavor. It was cooked well, but zero flavor. We had to salt and pepper the first fry.Tarter sauce? No flavor. Cole slaw? Dry, with no flavor.The owner didn't believe us. She said she had half her son's when he got there earlier and it was good.Well. Not ours.They kept saying their head chef was on vacation. Not a great excuse.They do have a great view of the lake though.Liquor selection isn't great either.I miss the place it was previously. Now that food was awesome.
The fried calamari and marinara was bland, I kept adding salt and even hot sauce it was so bland. How about adding garlic, oregano, basil, pepper, red pepper flakes as the dish had none of those. We were sitting outside. The waitress was nice enough but got extremely nervous when I mentioned my food might taste better if I didn't have to smell some inconsiderate man's cigar. He was sitting with his companion just beyond the dining area. I mean really nervous. She said she told the manager. Makes me wonder what he said to her to make her that agitated. Not going back.
Great atmosphere, food was delicious, and the service was excellent too! It was a busy Saturday night and a great boating day, so they got slammed at dinner, but all was good. Might be our new favorite!
Waited an hour for a table, we were forgotten about, service was horrible. Food came out cold, over priced, worst pasta sauce EVER!!!! Typical cheeseburger menu, nothing special at all. Staff looked dirty, not the kind of people you want bringing your food to you. I would never recommend this place to anyone, would never go back. Can’t hold a candle to the bayside! Only reason it gets a star so I can continue and post this.
Terrible service 3 hours later got 2 of the 3 meals ordered no one came over to say anything. If you are not a local you get treated poorly. The owner argued with me. I will never go back there!!
We love it here! Just stared going this past summer. The staff are friendly and the food is great! Love the outdoor space too.
