I love Sonic slushes and that is the only reason I come here, I will say the location on W. Ridge Rd in Rochester looks extremely ran down and in need of some serious TLC. There was garbage all over the parking lot, one of the TV’s were just left hanging and their sidewalk where the employees walk in and out of was extremely dirty and can use a nice power wash.

I wish I could give this a 0 star, but Google doesn’t roll that way.I ordered everything ahead on the app. Checked in when I arrived at the bay. Within minutes the screen prompted me that someone was bringing my food out, and then the screen cleared. No one ever came.I pressed the button, and the screen says “the red button has been activated. Someone will be right with you. No one ever responded.I had to call the restaurant. At this point it’s been half an hour and no one has helped me with anything or even attempted to see what I need. I had to call in myself and complain about their poor work ethic and long wait times. My food had been sitting on the counter done for half an hour. Instead of bringing it to me, they prioritized the drive through, which saw 15 cars go through, with an average turn around of about 2 minutes. So all of my food was cold, my children’s food was cold, my wife - whom I was trying to do something nice for - her food was cold. One exceptionally unhappy family.I will never eat at Sonic again. It’s the same experience at every location. Doesn’t anyone take pride in their work anymore?If you can’t figure out how to juggle turn around times, there’s a Chick-fil-A not even 1/3 of a mile down the road. They have customer service and turn around times down like real professionals.

I have the Sonic app..All I wanted was a 1/2 price cherry lemonade slushy and a large blue berry something or other. So I preorder on the app...drive 9.5 miles to the Sonic , pull in to the stall and enter the stall # into the app (stall #8) well 10 minutes go by due to good conversation and being in no real hurry I press the red button and the screen reads your order will be out shortly ??‍♂️ fine no big deal. A few moments later the name of our waitress comes up stating she will be bringing out the drinks soon....... ...... .......... No one comes it's been another 10 minutes. No I start to look around maybe Sonic is busy , I'm not the only one who wants a slushy so on and so forth.. but just as I make eye contact with one of the employees (who happens to be delivering orders out the side door to other waiting customers) she yells out "We ain't coming out to the stalls you have to go in drive thru... GO IN DRIVE THRU"Confused I pull into the drive thru line, get to the window and I am handed a bag (food) "This isn't my order, I have two drinks I ordered through the mobile app" this different employee takes a moment and then says "Okay" then takes the food to the car behind me and completes that order as well as three more cars behind me.... To clear drive thru THEN my drinks were made and I was allowed to leave... Cause I had already paid for the drinks...... SighLong story long.... I am hoping this is a rare moment... I'm not a Sonic food fan but the drinks are good so if I do go I'd hope to enjoy the experience of ordering on the app and picking up my order without wasting 45 minutes waiting.

We ordered our food in the drive thru and a African American women with a bonnet on took our order. Every single time we place a order she would interrupt us a say "Is that it? Is that it? Her customer service was so disgusting. Customer service is a big deal to me and if your miserable and don't like your job then you should leave. I hope the manager or corporate sees this because her behavior was unacceptable.

Don't go here if you're in a hurry. Plan to sit in line AT LEAST a half an hour before you get your food, sometimes more. There hasn't been one time that I've came here and gotten my food before then. And they always come to the window multiple times to ask me what I ordered. Like shouldn't you know?! It should be on the screen! ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️

The worst sonic location to go to! Always waiting no matter the line size. Customer service is horrible constantly rude and blaming staffing issues? (Their issues have been long before covid). Food is always either burnt or or which also makes no sense.

When time matters, I stop here. Guaranteed fastest service. Food is OK. Took me time to learn and choose the right dish for me, but other than that Sonic Drive-In is the place to go when I am in a ruch.

This location runs out of ingredients often. You never know what will be available! Service has always been friendly. Sometimes wait times get long.

Ordered online. Had to wait for an hour and reorder at drive through. They turned off the ice cream while we were waiting and we didn't get a refund for that. Food was inedible. Absolutely AVOID. I'm pregnant, feeling nostalgic, and wanted a treat. MISTAKE.

This place used to be decent. Not anymore. Went here a few months back and used a gift card at the drive thru. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and she said she couldn't eat it. I said "just give it to me and I'll eat it". I eat everything. One bite and I spit it out. Disgusting! We just split my meal and decided that sometimes this happens. Went back a month later to use the remainder of the gift card. I handed the card to the young lady and she told me I had $2.96 on the card. My meal cost around $7. I asked "okay, what do I owe for the remainder? She told me I could not use the card and that I had to pay the total balance. I said that's impossible, and she replied by saying there machine is old. I asked how would I ever be able to use the card. She said I would have to buy something for $2.96. I said I have gone there before and used the remainder of gift cards towards larger balance numerous times. The young lady shut the window and I think her manager came over. After some negotiations she said I could only make this transaction happen if I paid cash. I said I have cash,credit, or debit. I can make this happen. I owed $4.22 after the gift card. I counted out five 1dollar bills and handed them over. I received my food and the window shut. I waited. The window re-opened. "What chu want?"My change please."You gave me $4."I gave you $5. Door shuts. Yelling. Door reopens with my change.This is what $15 an hour gets you. I guess this is the new normal.
