Food was good, large portions, service was excellent. People in the hibachi section looked like they were having fun. Gave it four stars because one entree was heavy on the salt and the decor left some to be desired. Sesame shrimp was pleasing and the fried rice was well seasoned. Cool spot!

I went there 2/26 with my husband for date night. We arrived at 6 after calling ahead. We were told there’d be no wait if we sat in dining opposed to hibachi. We were immediately seated which was nice but we waited over 30 minutes to be GREETED by our server. No hello, I’ll be right with you, NOTHING! I had to go up to the hostess and ask her to grab the server JUST so we could get water. Our food came out fast but it was wrong. The server switched up our steak orders. I was able to still eat mine but my husband did not. $30 plate to waste. We received a 10% discount but honestly the experience was so trash we didn’t care. The food would’ve been great if they got it correct. Terrible service. Maybe only go for takeout but even with that, Sunny Hibachi on Dewey would’ve been better.

The chef was very entertaining. But let's talk about this food, the fact that it was just ok, veggies were a bit cold. The price of my dinner gave me a good shocking. Maybe next time I'll enjoy, if there is a next time.

Honestly the best experience ive had at a restaurant. The chef matt, fantastic chef and very skilled, the waitress Laney was phenomenal she was super kind and hardworking when someones drink was empty there was a full one with a straw before you could look back down at your drink again. 100% will be coming back many times

This is my favorite restaurant that I have ever been to in all of my life.Food is delicious, staff are nice, great service...I could go on all day about the good things about this restaurant. Highly recommended if you are going out to eat somewhere. By the way, if you are eating here ask if you can be seated with the chef Matt. He is by far the best hibachi chef there. He is very nice and does an amazing job with the food. All in all, definitely 5 stars.

Stopped in for a quick lunch with my daughter after shopping and was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Michael suggested the lobster sushi roll and it was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. We will be back ?Update: My husband and I went for hibachi and it was a fun experience. Our server Amy suggested the miso soup to suit our dietary restrictions and we were grateful. Lou the chef was awesome and cracked an egg into a heart! Perfect lunch spot or date night. Also, the sogo Mai Thai was delicious!

Such a great place in Rochester. Customer service is great. Chef Shogun Ho is awesome, great sense of humor and passionate about food and people. Lovely experience. I am a Traveller and a picky eater. So I don’t review very often as I suppose unless someone really impressed me.

First time here tonight. First negative is that place was freezing, did warm up a tad while sitting at the grill and eating but still very cold. 2nd negative was the filet was very chewy. Other than that the food was great, the hibachi cook was the best, even had a little squirt bottle of pop for the child at our table. Drinks were good as was the waitress.

We frequent this place, but after the last visit we won’t be back. We were seated at a table with a person that made special requests and weren’t told that was happening. We made due since we had made the reservation and we’re seated. We told them it was our young daughter’s birthday dinner multiple times. The other people at the table requested a specific chef. We complied and had no problems with that, but this chef did not do anything special as other ones do. We waited a long time for dinner and the server made multiple mistakes on the drink orders as well as forgetting to give my young daughter her soup. When the chef quickly made the meal serving extra to the other quests that requested him it was not worth the wait. The other guests left stating they don’t eat there, they bring it home. When we finished our meal they server brought a dessert for my daughter and slid it in front of her not leaving. Spoon or fork for her to eat with. She’s a child and we left with her teary eyed that the table next to us sang happy birthday to the person there and she didn’t even get a fork. We had a party of 7 and when the bill came we paid it, and realized the totals weren’t even correct. We normally leave an additional tip even though the gratuity is part of the bill, but this time we lids not.It was a terrible experience and I will not recommend this place again.

♿ accessible.Dining room & Hibachi table seating. Reservations for Hibachi are recommended bcz they accept walk-ins only if not busy at that moment & have enough staff on duty.Hibachi chefs are fun, entertaining & accommodating. Large menu. Very good food & much of it! 18% gratuity for chef & waitress. Average cost per person about $20-35.
