So the best in Rochester to me. They good at what they do.
The food was very good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are not open to the public.
I am always, pleased with food from Sal Birdland. This past weekend was horrible, the wings were overcooked and almost black, and so were the potatoes wedges. They both tasted like the grease that they were fried in was reused and old. I was disappointed especially with the price.
Mac and cheese was single-cheese and reheated (telltale from the whiteness of the liquid compared to the cheese, the lack of flavor, and texture of the cheese).Chicken tenders were the blended, pressed restaurant depot kind. The cheapest ones you can get.The potato wedges were not wedges, but cut into smaller pieces. Fine tasting, but skin half crispy and other side soft and soaked.If you ever wonder what the RIT kids eat at the RITZ in the least popular corner, this food is exactly the same, but with worse wedges.

I love this place and I can order it when I am done with work. it is ready when I get there and still hot when i get home. Nice crispy wings. Delicious sauce! I put the sauce on sandwiches. Yummmmm!

Home to the best wings in Rochester! Not those anemic little wings you get in bars. These are big and the coating is perfect! Been a Sal's fan for decades and they're still just as good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ?
