Food was good… fire alarm went off … again… heard it’s a regular occurrence… had to wait in cold parking lot for over 10 minutes… they didn’t even buy us a drink or dessert or anything!!!!!! The guy said they would take care of us and didn’t do squat … cheap shortsighted owners. Came back to cold dinners and they didn’t do anything ! Not happy at all ! Cheap management????
I never leave reviews but this was honestly one of the worse restaurants experience that I have ever had!!! We drove all the way from Buffalo to meet family for dinner! There was 10 of us. When we arrived the fire department was just leaving because the fire alarms were going off. We had reservations and still had to wait to be seated. Then when we were seated we waited about 40- 50 minutes for the chef to come out. The waitress was not friendly at all and never came back to check on our drinks. Also, when you asked her a question she just would reply in a very unfriendly manner. After waiting 40-50 minutes for the chef to come out the fire alarm went off again and we had to evacuate. We had our 11 month old with us. Then after returning back in the chef was not very friendly or fun at all. The rice had to be reheated and the waitress never came back to check on us. The food was also very, very salty. We also had to ask for forks and the chef replied... "Well go get your waitress and get it yourself." Overall, it was terrible. They should raise thier expectations and quality of experience/service for the price that they charge.
As always, very good food preparation, good quality, and cooking show by the chef table side. Fun night. Very busy there, all tables full and bar waiting area full. You definitely need reservations to be able to eat on the weekends.
Terrible service and was told no manager to even talk to food was over cooked horrible especially for the price will never eat here again
We went there for a birthday dinner, everything was delicious, service was friendly and prompt
100% best quality best sushi best hibachi in Rochester. They are clean friendly and probably a little more expensive then others but it’s worth it.
Only giving this place a one star because the waitress was very nice- other than that this place deserves 0 stars. The atmosphere was unsettling- not a normal exciting comforting warm welcoming atmosphere like other hibachi restaurants- decor was out of date , nothing seemed cleaned, and I'm pretty sure my chair was going to eventually break (I only weigh 135) , the chairs were insanely wobbly. - I tried to remain optimistic. The salad dressing is not your normal ginger salad dressing that you'd usually get from other hibachi restaurants- it tastes like dirty dish water (I'd imagine that's how dirty dish water would taste) - the waitress was super nice and brought me another salad without the dressing and old oil on the side. The salad was not fresh and you can tell it came from a contaminated refrigerator just by the taste of it.You have to pay an additional $4.99 for hibachi noodles- which they're not even real hibachi noodles- it's literally angel hair pasta and is hard by time it's served because angel hair pasta is NOT meant to be cooked like that- it was horrific. Save your $4.99 on the noodles that they do not supply like majority hibachi places do.The prices are absolutely insane for their poor quality food, environment, and service that you receive- overly priced for what they offer- they are NOT worth that much money. The cheft didn't entertain or talk to anyone at the table- it was pure awkward silence, he cooked quick and bounced- I go to hibachi for a show and entertainment, fun and authentic Japanese food and I definitely did not get any of that from this place.l asked for my steak to be medium well and was given it rare, the inside of my steak was still cold. ?My chicken was undercooked and gross. The shrimp were bad because they had that fishy taste to them- probably the worst shrimp I've ever had and definitely was not fresh.Save your money and seek elsewhere- this hibachi restaurant just isn't it, and the health department really needs to make a visit.
A lot of fun and delicious but FREEZING in the dining room. I'm sure they have to keep it cool in there with all of the grills going or I'd be complaining about being too hot, but as an FYI, wear layers!
First off our chef wasn’t entertaining he cracked the eggs into the grill then removed the shells after they were touching the cooking egg on the grill it was terrible and because I was sitting on the end we were skimped out on the meat everytime, my family didn’t get to sing me happy birthday because I wasn’t brought a dessert, no sake very disappointing First time I came I had an amazing time but I won’t be back after this
I visit this establishment on 12/3/21. It was cold so cold inside the establishment. We were offered a space heater that did not help. Food was okay. They gave my bank card to another person. When I called to discuss it. The person stated that there’s not much they could do about it but take my phone and hope the person returned my bank card. ??
