OMG, first time here and I will surely be back. Great service, great food & large portions. Get there early because they are very very crowded. Happy hour $3/$4.50 drinks, worth every penny.
Stopped in on a Friday night, there were just a few tables left, but we also found 2 seats at the bar and chose them. The bartender came to us immediately, was very friendly, brought our drinks quickly and gave us time to look at the menu and specials. I noticed that there is a lot of staff, always busy taking care of the customers, or washing glasses, cleaning up the bar, all experienced and very efficient, something that is unusual these days. We ordered our food, it didn't come out immediately, but there were many people and the timing was on point with the amount of customers. I ordered the haddock french, which came with pasta and a salad as a Friday special, it was huge and very good. My daughter ordered Mac and cheese and fries, both were very good. We really wanted to try the Bailey's cheesecake for dessert, but it was so popular, they ran out, so we had the peanut butter pie, which was yummy. The prices here are very reasonable with specials and deals everyday of the week, check out their website. Their happy hour runs daily from 1 to 7 pm. This is an awesome place, I plan on spending more time here, you should too!
I have lived right near this place for year and am sad I didn't know it was there sooner. We popped in on a Friday evening and it was lively, but not too loud. Classic Rock overhead. Lots of TV's if that is your thing, which sometime it is mine. The menu is bar food, but they also have dinner specials. My bf had a Haddock French he raved about. I had a Caesar, dressing was perfectly prepared, not too creamy. The waitress, Nicole, was fantastic. One of the owners even came over, said hello and gave us a couple drink tokens. My bf commented that he couldn't remember the last time he'd had such genuinely warm service and yummy food all at once. It is a typical bar, nothing fancy on the surface, but the food was good and the atmosphere was great, groups of friends around, clearly a haunt for some. Pool, dart board, etc. We will be back!
it's been like twelve years since I've been in Rochester ,been living in Phoenix as well San Antonio ,Texas ,,ran into some good people awesome food ,and awesome service thank you highly recommend
I recently visited Romigs with a friend and it was okay. The food was good, it was cooked well and tasted good but the menu was just basic bar food. The staff was very nice. It was very crowded and there was very limited seating.
I was meeting my aunt for a last minute lunch and the place we had planned on going did not have lunch hour so I googled this place for location and time open near me. This came up with good reviews and I know has been there a long time. It seems like a place that has a lot of regulars. So when I walked in I expected to be greeted and seated. I stood there for a few minutes until somebody noticed and told me to get silverware and seat myself in the menus were at the table. This made me a little uncomfortable because it took so long for someone to tell me. After that everything changed. When my aunt arrived are we just came over and was very welcoming and reviewed all the specials probably got us drinks. She took our orders the food came fast and was delicious. We sat there for a long time catching up and we felt no rush to free up the table. I like the atmosphere and I can see why they are a place where they have a loyal following. I'm not sure if I will go back but I know if I did I would feel right at home.
A coworker recommended this place for the wings. I decided to get a fish sandwich since it's lent and I was very satisfied with the experience. The staff were pleasant and attended to me promptly. The food was hot and cooked very well, the fish was crispy with a flaky moist center, the French Fries were crispy on yhe outside with a warm fluffy inside. Wonderful experience and I will definitely be a repeat customer. ??.
The food was great. I went with a hot dog plate with both dogs, white and red with the sauce in the side. Excellent meal but make sure you have plenty of time when you go.
