I remember when these were a huge hit when I was a kid but WHAT HAPPEN TO THE GLAZE??? it’s dry not as great as before and super doughy. Just a little more glaze and it would be like old times for me!! Still the BEST DONUTS in ROCHESTER!!!

I’m giving them one star simply because the donut cake was correct but when it comes to customer service they don’t even deserve one. This was my first and last time ever stepping foot in there. I placed an order for a cake to be picked up @11.. I show up at 11 to find it’s not ready and will be another five minutes. Well five turned into 25 minutes waiting. So I ask another person for my cake but before they could answer an employee whom I wasn’t even speaking to felt the need to be rude and disrespectful towards me because I guess me asking for my cake upset her. I won’t ever return and she shouldn’t have a job. My opinion. The place is not worth it.
After a particularly good doctor's appointment I decided to treat myself since this location is right around the corner. My favorite is the Bavarian creme, but the glazed are excellent as well. Service was personable and quick.
Even with a long line out in the parking lot, only took about 15-20 mins. The donuts are amazing and service is very good. Their wide selection varies day to day, but they are usually pretty flexible if you want something not currently available.
I miss my mom but this was her favorite place for donuts and today I thought about her and the donuts so I got me some. Thanks you are the best.
Just bought dozen donuts today. Fast service, pleasant staff and the lunch special was ham and bean soup. Smelled delicious. They have counter seating. Old fashioned and homey atmosphere. I will definitely be going back. Bon apetite!
We are big fans of Ridge Donuts. We actually live right next to Donuts Delight, but it is no contest which one is better… I will drive the 10 minutes to Ridge every time. We have even done “blind” side-by-side taste tests just for fun. Hands-down, they have the best apple fritter of any apple fritter I’ve ever eaten, anywhere. My top five are all incredibly good there. Apple Fritter, Original Glazed, Chocolate Glazed, Hot Cross Buns, and Sour Cream. Both Donuts Delight and Ridge Donuts offer a cannoli donut, the filling at Ridge is perfect. It is not as thick and dry as the filling at donuts delight so it really adds to the donut. That is my husband‘s favorite. The kids love all the donuts really haha, but the original with chocolate frosting on top, the headlights, and the lemon filled powdered donuts are some of the favorites. I can also personally recommend their cinnamon rolls, which are massive. I have eaten these even four days after buying them and they are still delicious.Best donuts ever… The End. ?
I used Ridge Donuts for our gender reveal. Sadly the surprise was told to me inadvertently when I picked up my order.I showed up a week prior told them the importance of keeping it secret. I handed them a form with the gender on it written by our doctor.On the day of the reveal I picked up the donuts. After waiting another thirty minutes to pick up an order I had already placed (I tried calling back line to only be left on hold) I was handed a box with an order that had “girl” circled.When we went home the donuts themselves had pink sprinkles all over the top. We had requested blue and pink sprinkles so we could find out gender when we ate the donut.I tried calling manager - about a week later i got a voicemail offering an apology and some donuts. Appreciated apology but there’s really no way to fix this. I post this now (a few months later) because I recently saw this business was still doing gender reveal donuts. While I generally only do positive reviews I felt others whom elect to use this company aught to know what occurred here.I will say Ridge has some of my favorite donuts but unfortunately the level of incompetence that led to this experience makes me never want to go here again. I post this simply as a warning to others.
My 1st visit 4/8/22, I can assure you it won’t be last. 1PM on a Saturday afternoon and the place was very busy. Great customer service and fabulous donuts! There were people sitting at the counter enjoying breakfast sandwiches that looked so good. Will definitely be back to try one of those ASAP ?
Went in for a dozen donuts. I thought the worker was skipping the person in front of me so I let them know she was first. Another worker cut in raised his voice screamed and pointed at me in front of everyone. It was so bad the other customer apologized to me as we were leaving. Absolutely unprofessional and embarrassing and no reason for him to raise his voice and speak to me in this way when all I said when she was first.
